My husband and I had our wedding reception at The WBU Event Venue on 9/13/25 and we have not one regret! The space is unique and so thoughtfully decorated with odes to its history. We had our ceremony off-site at a church, then cocktail hour in their first floor event space and reception in their ballroom upstairs. We had the perfect amount of space for our guest count of 150. Laura, their manager, was so lovely to work with! We noticed her attention to detail and genuine concern for our wedding vision from the very beginning. She worked so nicely with the day-of coordinator we hired. We highly recommend this venue!
I don’t have enough words to accurately express just how grateful my now husband and I are to the staff at The WBU. A year and a half planning process was made much less stressful thanks to Natasha and Laura. Their bartending staff was patient and cheerful with our crowd on the day of. We could not have dreamed of a more beautiful and intimate setup for our special day.
Two days prior to our outdoor wedding, we needed to do a last minute venue change to an indoor spot. We came across the WBU event venue and gave them a call to see if they had availability. Natasha was beyond informative and effective in gathering all of the information needed on such short notice on the initial phone call. Laura was able to show us around the next day and was so kind, upbeat and helpful. They went above and beyond to make our wedding day perfect in only two days. They cut zero corners. The venue was absolutely stunning in and of itself! You could get away with no added decor :) The bartenders were quick and personable. We had zero complaints and are looking for an excuse to book at the WBU again :)
My wife and I had our ceremony in the downstairs hall, and our reception upstairs in the ballroom at the end of April, all I have to say about the WBU Event Venue is overwhelmingly positive! The staff and management were amazing, going above and beyond to make sure that everything was going smoothly. The bartenders were phenomenal during both the cocktail hour and the reception, fast, professional, and friendly! It was a big wedding, approx 180, and the space fit everyone, with room for the buffet, cookie table, and a very busy dance floor! I highly recommend the WBU Event Venue to anyone who is looking for a unique space with character, history, and plenty of room, all while being easily accessible from downtown and the surrounding areas!
The WBU was an amazing space for our September wedding! With ~190 guests, we were able to have our ceremony on the first floor and reception in the ballroom. The space felt full of love and energy with enough space to be comfortable as well. The building has so much character and history and the scenery and outdoor area was beautiful! The staff was also exceptional. Laura was so accommodating and flexible with how we wanted our day. She and the rest of the staff made transitions into cocktail hour and reception seamless. The upstairs lounge was such a unique space for the wedding party before the ceremony. We also loved having a stage in the reception area for a live band. The horseshoe bar was definitely a guest favorite too! Overall, we highly highly recommend the WBU!
