I’m a personal shopper, and I love coming to this store. It’s always easy to shop and move around, and the staff is friendly and helpful. I also noticed they carry all the Kinky flavors—I used to travel to Independence to find the one I like, but now I don’t have to. I definitely recommend this store to others! However, based on other reviews and my own experience, I’d also suggest getting to know your customers rather than assuming what they might be doing. If there’s a concern about theft, it’s better to check in after someone has shopped —not immediately when they walk in. Someone asked if I needed help within five seconds of entering, which was fine, but then asked again another five seconds later before I even had a chance to pull out my list. I had a large order, so I was simply trying to get organized. I’ve worked in security, loss prevention, and customer service, so I understand the need to stay alert—just be sure to balance awareness with giving customers space.
One of the few places I want to write a 5 star for. The workers are incredibly intelligent and knowledgeable on wines, prices, pairings, etc This is truly my Disneyland place. The workers here were very nice and fun to interact with. Thank you all!
Best place in KC to find a wide variety of wines and spirits. Prices are usually average or better. Better than most smaller liquor stores. I do wish they had a better selection of imported beers. Good selection of Irish whisky, scotch and cognac. Great wine selection.
Awesome experience! The McFarlane Bourbon was an excellent recommendation that checked all the Wheated Bourbon boxes. The other purchases easily saved me 30%-35% over any of my typical Oklahoma liquor stores prices. Will definitely be back every Spring & Fall we come up for the Kansas Speedway Nascar weekends.
