Approaching the tastefully decorated ice rink evoked a distinct sense of an icy wonderland, enhancing the overall atmosphere. The Toyota Sports Performance Center surpassed all expectations, offering one of the most enjoyable public ice-skating experiences my family has had since visiting the Culver City Ice Arena. Upon arrival, the environment was welcoming and efficiently organized, with clear consideration for families. The public skating session was exceptional, featuring freshly resurfaced ice, ample space, and a diverse group of skaters representing various skill levels. The facility also included a separate rink designated for the adult ice hockey league. Staff members demonstrated attentiveness and friendliness, prioritizing safety while maintaining a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere. Regardless of experience level, the environment remained positive and participative. An often-overlooked feature is the on-site bar, which offers more than just convenience. With a clean sports bar overlooking the hockey league rink and figure skating rink to support your friends and family during their performance. Overall, the Toyota Sports Performance Center operates as a well-managed facility that demonstrates a strong understanding of its community’s needs. It performs as an excellent venue for recreational exercise.
Free parking, prices are accessible, lots of room for ice skating, lots of fun for children and adults too. It would be great if they can have a vending machine for hot chocolate or coffee by the ice ring for the parents who are sitting there waiting and freezing 😂
Steven at the Toyota Sports Center Skate Shop was amazing! I had been struggling with my one foot spin and jumps, constantly scratching my toe pick and dealing with numbness in my feet. He quickly identified that my boots were not only mounted incorrectly but also half a size too small, which was causing me to lean forward and making everything more difficult. Steven’s knowledge of figure skating is elite. He really takes the time to diagnose the problem, explain what’s going on, and make sure everything is right. He truly cares and is incredibly knowledgeable. Thanks to him, I got properly fitted, and in just one day with my new boots, I nailed my one foot spin and even learned my loop! I’m so grateful for his expertise and support, highly recommend him to anyone needing help with their skating gear!
Great place, friendly employees…BUT the worse rental skates. The skates were torn, rusty blades and stiff. I could not skate in what I was given. Traded in for a different pair… just as bad. No blades should be rusty
Great facility. Ice is in Wonderful condition, plenty of parking and great bar / restaurant upstairs. Great rink for ice hockey
