I go here pretty frequently to get Jellycats and the employees are always very welcoming and helpful and talkative. i’ve never had any sort of issues or felt as uncomfortable as i did today. After finding the Jellycat i had wanted i went to the register to checkout where there was an older lady i hadn’t seen there before, i just stood there smiled and already felt very uncomfortable. she glances at me for a second not saying anything then looks away and avoids even looking back. I was sure if she was the one checking people out or not so I put the jellycat on the counter and just kinda stand there since i wasn’t really sure. she still says absolutely nothing and never smiled or looked at me. I was on the phone but i wasn’t actively talking and was looking directly at her. Finally she looks at me and says “can i help you?” and throws her shoulders up a little bit as if i was bother her standing there. mind you trying to buy something. I said i was ready to checkout and she just rolls her eyes and lets a deep breath out. the whole time she’s ringing it up she doesn’t say a single word besides my total and if i wanted a bag. I am extremely disappointed in this interaction today and almost reluctant to continue going there.
I've been shopping here for years and bought tons of Xmas presents this year, as in the past. I bought 5 snow ball launchers for my grandkids to play with Xmas eve. They were defective and did not work even when adults tried. I returned them today, and the store clerk, a very nice gentleman, tried over 5 times to make them work as well. He had to call the owner to get permission for a refund. She said she would only give store credit FOR DISFECTIVE TOYS SOLD IN HER STORE? I'm in the service business, and that is so wrong. They are selling a defective toy that even a grown man could not get to work. I will use that store credit and find another toy store for the future.
Our favorite toy shop in Dallas! My kids are 12 and 14, but still find fun stuff there for their ages. We are in usually on a monthly basis either for gifts or for just to buy fun treats for the kids!
Five minutes from Love Field. Dropped in to buy gifts for my kids before my flight home today. Family owned and operated feel with excellent customer service. They were more than happy to help pick out winning gifts for both kids. Best in-store selection of Bruder Toys I have seen state side as well as tons of other things. Highly recommend. Thanks!
If you need a last-minute birthday present, this is the place to go walk in your greeted by a friendly team they help you get to the right area. We picked out a sweet Lego set and they wrapped it and we were out of there within five minutes this place rocks!
