This small, local winery is one of my very favorites. The wine is the best - I’ve bought many bottles for gifts and people are always thrilled. The wine tastes amazing and the bottle label is a mini work of art. The labels are often clever with a dry sense of humor. Wine tastings here are special - Ray, the owner, is there and can answer any questions. He is friendly, humble, fun to chat with, and very knowledgeable. Ray consistently creates the very best tasting wine. What a hidden gem this winery is!
Ray the owner and winemaker is a really nice guy and knowledgeable about his wine. It's a great place to go for a tasting and he usually has complimentary cheese/snacks to go with the wines. Highly recommend if you are looking for something easy to do! I recommend reservations for parties of more than 4.
I really love spending an afternoon at Travieso! It’s a smaller winery that’s very friendly and relaxing. They will bring out a lot of wines in a very low priced tasting which you can comp by buying a bottle… Also reasonably priced for very tasty and lovely wines. It’s definitely a place I like to go to on the weekends for a fun experience!
Nice little tasting room in Campbell. Travieso makes a handful of different wines, all of which are good. They use grapes from various areas of Northern California wine country, like Dry Creek and Russian River, among others. You can get a tasting of six wines for $20, which can be applied to your wine purchase should you decide to buy a bottle or three.
Great time tasting some fun wines with Ray the owner! We tasted at three wineries today, and Travieso was by far the best.
