I had a wonderful time with Katelyn. She was so nice and a great hype woman. She listened to all my thoughts and preferences and gave me a fabulous service! Already re-booked.
I booked last minute for a scalp treatment and haircut. Lisa was very helpful in guiding me through what cut would look the best with my long black straight hair. I can't keep up with coloring so I wanted to have a haircut that would make hair a little more exciting. Layering it can be tricky but Lisa created some great shape and movement in my hair.
I love True Blue and Hannah! Pleasant atmosphere, everyone working there is super nice and perhaps most importantly, my appointments always begin on time! In my history of salon experiences, this is not consistent. I was pleasantly surprised at my last appointment to be offered a relaxing hand massage while my hair finished processing before my shampoo. Lovely! I also like how the owner is present (with her adorable little dogs, no less)! Overall, great salon, great service and great people!
Hailee is the best! She’s very experienced and talented with color and sewn in extensions- she is very precise and takes care to make sure color’s just right and my extensions are snug and balanced. As a bonus, she’s also very personable, sweet, and warm!
I got a spiral perm done on my long, thick Asian hair by Kim, the owner! She was so sweet and after so many stylists in my town said no-she was up to the task! She has so much knowledge about how to handle ethnic hair that it felt like she had been doing my hair for years! The entire appointment was such a wonderful experience. I felt like a celebrity because of how sweet everyone was. Because of my hair length and thickness, it was obviously a longer appointment and I am so grateful that Kim went as far as to rearrange some of her schedule to accommodate me since I was coming from out of state. The rest of her team were the sweetest people ever and it was very clear to me the kind of supportive and caring community they foster at this salon. Talented stylists AND everyone is nice? Where else am I going to find that? I would recommend this salon to all my fellow ethnic girlies out there! Your hair is in good hands here and the possibilities are endless! The first hair appointment I’ve ever had where someone didn’t go, “Are you sure you don’t wanna thin out your hair?” I am so grateful for the endless pool of knowledge Kim and her team has for all hair types. True Blue Nashville is the blueprint to how all salons should be. If I was a stylist, I would be begging to learn from them. Thank you again to Kim for taking such good care of me! I LOVE my perm and can’t wait to come back to Nashville and stop by again.
