If I could rate Turbo Tim's 10/5, I would. They have been so fantastic, well and truly. Not only do they give you a full report of everything they check, they also will work with you to figure out the best approach to handle your car's needs if you can't pay for everything up front. I've taken my car here multiple times, and every single experience has been fantastic. They offer complimentary Lyft rides from and back to the shop, and even got me a pair of extra rides when I had to make it to an appointment and they hadn't been able to get my car repaired by the original time. Legitimately, the folks here have been so kind and communicative, and they're available by text message as well, plus - cats. They have multiple super cute shop cats. Oh, and that bumper sticker discount? 10% off any service up to $200? That has been invaluable. All in all, I'm thrilled that I saw a Turbo Tim's bumper sticker and decided to check it out. I won't go anywhere else as long as I live in the Twin Cities.
I had never brought my car into a new shop before and looked at plenty and tons of reviews before I settled with TT. I saw some reviews saying that they believed the prices were too high, or that things were wrong after they picked up their car, etc. But my experience was perfect! I was able to get an appointment very soon after my car started having issues, and the interface for requesting services and providing info is great. I loved the shop, the service at the desk was very warm and accommodating, with lots of solid questions and updating my info real time to get a better picture of the issues and what I was looking for. My favourite part was the inspection reports with pictures included, and the service approval sheet was so low pressure and easy to use and navigate. I found that the prices including labour were very reasonable and affordable, and I opted for every recommended service following the full point inspection. The mechanics kindly updated future scheduled maintenance recommendations for my vehicle to keep her in better shape going forward. Overall awesome, fast and quality work, my car just drives better and I'm happy to have found "my shop".
We were in the cities for a wedding when our transmission started leaking. Izzy and Mike took care of us from beginning to end. They helped us get our car towed to Turbo Tim's, diagnosed the issue and explained it to us in detail so that we actually understood it. They checked for recalls with Ford (unfortunately in the end it wasn't covered by a recall) and quickly had the specific parts needed shipped. They got us safely back on the road home in a timely matter. We are in our late 70's and feel so lucky and grateful that we had Izzy and Mike taking care of our car and us. I highly recommend Turbo Tim's and wish there was one closer to home!
I love these guys. I bought a used BMW that had a catastrophic failure shortly after purchase. I live right behind Turbo Tim's and have used them for keeping my other cars healthy. They ran extensive diagnostics, shared everything they found along the way, and were very communicative throughout the process. It was a big repair, and these guys got my car running well again. Best shop in the cities? Oh yeah — also, cats!!!
Everyone was so friendly on the phone interactions I had and in person in the shop. They were prompt in evaluating and communicating about my car concerns. Comprehensive, but not pushy. The system they use to approve or hold off on services suggested was very user friendly. They promised to do their best to get the service completed in a timely manner and it was. Thanks for a great experience! And loved the shop cats lounging around
