What was supposed to be a relaxing spa experience ended with police involvement. Proceed with caution. ⚠️ I booked a signature massage at TYME Spa after receiving a promo email for 50% off (buy one, get one). While booking on their website through this promotion, the original price $235 was crossed out and replaced with $117, which reasonably appeared to be the promotional rate. Arrival issues: I arrived for my 2:00 PM appointment and the front doors were locked. The voicemail mentioned a 4-digit entry code, but there was no visible keypad on the front and no signage explaining where to find it. The sign instructed clients to call. I called multiple times with no answer. I eventually found the keypad at the back entrance. The front desk response was dismissive (“I was on the phone”). My appointment started about 20 minutes late. Service: The massage therapist was professional and the massage was fine. Checkout & escalation: At checkout, I was told my remaining balance was $117. I asked one reasonable question: Does this apply toward the second service under the promotion? From that moment, the front desk staff became unprofessional and made me uncomfortable. They seemed unclear on their own promotion, gave conflicting explanations, and claimed it had “changed” or was “limited,” despite the online promo indicating it ran through February 1, 2026. I was then called “difficult” for asking basic billing questions, and staff referenced earlier arrival issues with the first staff member I interacted with, making the situation feel personal rather than professional. Refusal to resolve: I calmly requested multiple times to speak with the owner to resolve this. That was refused; I was only given a name/email. I never refused payment. I was standing at the desk trying to resolve it and simply wanted clarity. I was told to leave and informed police could be called. I instructed her to please call the police as I have nothing to hide nor any criminal record, and waited so it could be documented, and I began recording. Management & police: After police arrived, the massage therapist that serviced my appointment called the front desk manager (Tattiana) by phone. She was not helpful and made no attempt to clarify or de-escalate. What she stated made no sense at all. Resolution: I ultimately paid the balance in full, and I will not return under any circumstances. Bottom line: misleading promo communication, locked-door access issues, poor customer service, refusal to escalate appropriately, and an avoidable billing discussion that escalated to police involvement. Other reviews suggest this is not an isolated incident. This experience reflects systemic operational and leadership failures, not a misunderstanding. I came in seeking restoration and left having to involve law enforcement over a billing question. Proceed with caution.⚠️
Absolutely exceptional experience at Tyne Day Spa this morning. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was calm, welcoming, and impeccably maintained. Crystal delivered a truly masterful massage—intuitive, skilled, and perfectly tailored to what my body needed. Her technique was both therapeutic and deeply relaxing, with seamless flow and just the right pressure throughout. I left feeling completely reset, lighter, and noticeably more balanced than when I arrived. This wasn’t just a massage; it was a top-tier, professional experience from start to finish. If you’re looking for expert care and genuine relaxation, Crystal and Tyne Day Spa is simply outstanding.
A very luxurious experience from beginning to end! Upon arrival to the very tasteful reception area the check in process was quick and efficient. I was offered wine, champagne, or water once checked in. Being a little early in the day, I took a water. I was early for my appointment, and once checked in and settled, my therapist Crystal took me back to my treatment room and left so I could undress to my comfort level and get situated under the (very high quality) sheet. The massage table was more comfortable than most, with thick padding and the usual adjustable “donut” for my face at the head of the table. The table was height adjustable and I was offered a choice of the table being heated or unheated (I elected for the heat to be on). Crystal was an incredibly thorough and attentive masseuse, asking if I had any areas I wished her to focus on (right shoulder). The massage commenced with my inhaling a wonderfully relaxing eucalyptus oil, and then Crystal proceeded to work on me. I had elected a 50 minute massage and at no point did my treatment feel rushed. My massage was the perfect balance of relaxing and therapeutic, and I definitely felt better for it, my sore spots having been worked out. I thoroughly recommend Tyme Day Spa and next time I am in the area I’ll be booking an 80 minute treatment room and requesting Crystal as my therapist.
Michelle was amazing. The best scalp and hand massages I’ve ever had and I get routine massages. Her technique felt wonderful. The lotion smelled amazing and the vibe of the spa was great. Would absolutely book again and would only choose Michelle.

We left feeling refreshed, stress-free, and ready to book our next visit. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy a little luxury.
