We booked with Unsalted Water Chartering 8 months in advance and planned our entire girls trip around it, with people even flying in. Two hours before pickup, we got a call that the boat was in the shop. Instead of being upfront, he kept stringing us along—saying it might be fixed or that he’d find another option. Hours later, he finally admitted the trip was canceled and that we’d just get a refund. We even asked (in writing) if he would captain another boat if we found one, and he agreed—only to back out later. Throughout the ordeal, he was unfriendly, dismissive, and repeatedly dishonest. He never once apologized until he was called out on the phone. He acted like refunding us was doing us a favor, when in reality, he had already ruined our day. At the end of the day, we didn’t even get an experience, just a wasted weekend. Boats can have issues, but any professional should have a backup plan and never take frustrations out on paying customers.

Amazing experience for my bachelorette party! The crew went above and beyond to accommodate a big group of girls and provided top notch service. I couldn’t recommend enough to use them for a bachelorette, birthday, or girl’s trip. As an added bonus they made sure our drinks were never empty and we stayed hydrated the whole day.

The Unsalted Waters crew went above and beyond to take care of all of our guests. Everyone stayed hydrated, safe, and happy the entire day. What I was really impressed with apart from their service was the crews adaptability on the water… coming from someone who knows nothing about boats, I can tell boating is tricky and the captains handled the anchoring and docking masterfully. Being fairly new to Grove, I had no idea you could find spots on the lake for cliff diving! I’m sure there are plenty more hidden treasures to explore which is why I’ll be looking forward to our next charter with them as well.

Had the pleasure of having an employee appreciation day aboard the MI Amor today. The crew was exceptional. We were met at our vehicles, where they carried our bags, and helped us board. During the cruise they made sure we had anything we needed, from keeping our drinks full, to serving us food. The food was absolutely delicious. Would definitely recommend this cruise on Grand Lake.

We could not have had a better day aboard with Unsalted Waters Chartering. Captain Grady Bates and his crew made our family spanning from ages 18-70+ feel comfortable and catered to. The personal service and the boat were amazing. The sights and scenery were incredible. If you are on the fence about spending money on a boat charter with family and friends - do it! You will not regret it!
