We celebrated a birthday. The salmon dish was cooked to perfection. Great flavor and the fish was moist and delicious!
Arrived here in July to the delicate sound of thunder. Indoor/outdoor seating. Takes reservations. Very nice atmosphere and vibes. You can see the James river.
Great food and wine!!! Beautiful outside. Wait staff could be a little more friendly but charcuterie board, smash burger and chocolate cake are outstanding !!!
Made reservations for the wife's birthday and enjoyed a red wine flight, the baked goat cheese, and smoked gouda and apple flatbread. Delicious.
Upper Shirley Vineyards is a great place to sit and enjoy lunch! The porch and grounds are beautiful and there is a really nice river view. The staff were very polite and friendly. They have a small menu and the food was really good. Of course they have a nice wine selection. Although I didn't try any, I heard several people say it was wonderful. They have a limited gluten free menu, but there are a couple of offerings. As for accessibility, they have a few handicap spaces and easy access to the main building. Once inside its fully accessible as well. Our office had lunch there and we really enjoyed our visit. I would definitely go again. It's close to Richmond and not terribly far from Williamsburg.
