I loved this place so much. I came from out of town to get a quick haircut before a wedding and my stylist Maggie did such a great job. The vibe of the salon itself if beautiful along with all the people in it. This place is great!!
Juliette is literally the best!! She had a great vision and knew exactly what to do to execute it perfectly. I'm so happy with my haircut! She recommended great products but not in a pushy/ businessy way, and was overall informative. And bonus she's so much fun to talk to! I'll totally be back! :D YAY! I recommend her if you having thin, fine hair!
I went to Harsha after a disappointing highlight job earlier this summer at another salon, and she made me feel like myself again! My previous highlights were much brighter than I wanted, with a harsh contrast in the underlayers and a very obvious grow-out line at the roots. Harsha blended everything beautifully and chose a tone that suits my coloring, softens my grays, and gives me a lived-in look that I know will grow out subtly. She’s truly exceptional at what she does. I can’t remember the last time I was this happy with my hair color!
Last week I went here to get my full roots done, and had the worst hair experience here. I wasn't expecting that because I have come before and loved it, unfortunately not the case. I left with my hair tangly and yellow, my roots looked the same and very upset because I had school pictures the next day. My hairdresser made me feel terrible, I asked why alot of strands were out and then she started getting rude, she was talking bad about me to other hairdressers nearby I heard her when I left the bathroom and then she did it again when I sat down. I had waited almost half a year and was really excited for this and it was really hard sitting in the chair for 4 hours after hearing that and then getting horrible results. From the pictures you can clearly see that my roots are still brown and the bleach application wasn't the best. The bleach was spotty and not a consistent color, I also told her I had a shoulder injury and she forgot halfway through, and told her I was uncomfortable and she didn't do anything. I thought it was going to get better but it didn't, the whole thing felt so rushed and careless. When she blowdried my hair she didn't brush it out all the way or section it she just grabbed the front pieces and started, I left the store with still wet hair and it was very tangly. After this I had to go home and redo my whole hair. I shouldn't have to stay awake till 2 in the morning trying to fix a problem a professional should do right the first time. I was very disappointed and wanted my senior pictures to look good. This was definitely the worst hair experience I have had, the service, the actual result, and how I got treated. I hope no one else has to go through this if they come here, everyone deserves to get treated with respect especially if your paying for it. Truly not a fun night and I deserve a refund.
First time visitor to Urban Betty and I had an awesome spa facial with Madeline Medina! She and the salon were currently running some promotions, so I was able to get an incredible experience and tailored product recommendations to add to my routine [excited to try the Sorella SPF!]. Madeline is very sweet, knowledgeable, and fun to work with! She can provide great guidance on your routine and she made the service very relaxing- I highly recommend her!
