Nice clean studio with nice amenities! They have mint cold towels and dry towels available for clients to use which is really nice. The workout was good but I think lagree might not be for me since after my workouts my joints don’t feel that good the day after 😅the instructors are super friendly and nice! The parking can be difficult and the studio is a little hard to find
I’ve been working out at Urban Core for almost a year now and I can honestly say I love it! I feel so much stronger, and Janet is hands down the best instructor. She always makes sure everyone’s doing the moves safely and correctly so we get the most out of every workout. Can’t wait for my next Pilates class with her!
I love Urban Core so much! The studio is well kept and clean, with amenities like cold towels, regular towels, a locker room, and a shower room! I've taken classes with Kristin, Edie, and Lauren and they are killerrr. I love the intensity and challenge of their classes! I like that they give corrections as needed for proper form and how encouraging they are during class. Not to mention that all their music taste is great and helps me power through these difficult workouts. I cannot reccommend this place enough!
Urban Core is one of the nicest studios I’ve ever been to. Every single instructor is fantastic, helpful, and great at teaching. The workout is phenomenal! I’ve been going twice a week for about 4 months now and am already seeing and feeling results. I’m a distance runner, and all the miles I’ve put on my body have weakened certain muscle groups, but with Lagree I feel myself getting stronger. I feel healthier and stronger than ever. The studio is beautiful and so clean. They have cool peppermint towels after class, clean bathrooms and an area to get ready if you go before work. There’s even a smoothie bar so you can order a smoothie and have it ready for you when you finish class. Love this place so much! Definitely a space that empowers women!
DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! Urban Core Studios in Plano is one of the most disappointing fitness studios I’ve ever encountered. From the moment you walk in, the energy is off—the front desk staff is not only unwelcoming but downright rude. Instead of greeting guests with professionalism, they act as if you’re inconveniencing them by simply showing up. Customer service is nonexistent, and it’s clear they have no interest in retaining members. With so many other studios in the area that actually value their clients, there is no reason to waste your time or money here. Beyond the terrible customer service, their policies are completely unfair and rigid. They have an inflexible cancellation policy that seems designed to take your money rather than accommodate real-life situations. The membership terms are confusing, and if you try to ask for clarification, they act as if you should have known better. If you’re looking for a studio that cares about its clients and fosters a positive environment, this is not it. Many people have experienced similar frustrations, and unfortunately, management does not seem to care. The location itself is also a nightmare. It’s hard to find, with no clear signage, and parking is a hassle. Even when you finally figure out how to get inside, the space itself is nothing special. For a studio that claims to be high-end, it’s surprisingly underwhelming. The equipment isn’t well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere is uninviting. If you’re expecting a premium experience, you will be sorely disappointed. Overall, Urban Core Studios is an overpriced, poorly managed business that does not deserve your time or money. From the rude staff to the unfair policies and lackluster facility, the experience is frustrating from start to finish. There are far better options in the area where you’ll actually feel welcomed and appreciated. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere—you’ll be glad you did. Again…DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!
