Magnificent mole was the standout of a fantastic date night dinner! Cocktails were expertly prepared with several unique options. Highly recommend getting extra fresh masa tortillas with your dinner. The salsa trio included the delicious macha version. Definitely a splurge for special occasions, but worth it to try new dishes you won't get elsewhere!
Supreme dining experience in metro Detroit area! Detailed to perfection, be it the interior, staffing or the star of the night “food”, everything about this place is sublime. Very polite and sweet staff. Their food will take you on journey to different flavors in your mouth. All dishes are shareable. Drinks were great and so was the dessert! This is the kinda establishment you want to keep coming back to, hope they keep up the good work.
The food was delicious. All the dishes have a creative and fresh take on Mexican cuisine. We particularly liked the Tetela, Huarache and the Tuna Tostada.
I have dairy and wheat allergies and there were plenty of options for me and accommodations made. The food was incredible and service was so lovely. Everyone was a delight to interact with! The tuna masa was probably my favorite. But then the shrimp aguachile was also top notch. You won’t be disappointed.

The red snapper was beautifully prepared—crisp on the outside, tender on the inside, and paired with vibrant flavors that showcased the kitchen’s skill. Service was attentive without being intrusive, and the overall experience made for a memorable evening. Vecino is a great choice for both business and leisure—refined, inviting, and seriously delicious. Highly recommended!
