When my baby swallowed a very long ribbon, I went straight into panic mode and immediately searched for the nearest open facility at night. Fortunately, the place I found was open, and the team there was incredible. The nurses were kind and understanding, and they helped us right away. Although the process to remove the ribbon was long, they were successful in safely getting it out of her system. The absolute BEST ER to take your pets. Their open concept care facility is everything. Pets stay with their parents and we participate in their care if we want. This atmosphere makes the experience more supportive and relaxing for all the animas and humans. The staff is highly skilled and compassionate to all the animals and their parents. Every pet that came in was seen in under a minute. Care was started immediately for all. I can’t say enough great things. Special appreciation to Dr McCartin and nurses Brianna and Katherine for their excellent care of Puck.
Cosmo was not only playing with hair ties but actually ingesting them. Dr. Madi Barton and her team were beyond incredible with their care for Cosmo. They were gentle and spoke to him nicely to calm him. I cannot thank them enough for the patience and compassion they showed during this stressful visit. I was able to be with Cosmo every step of the way between a private room and their open floor plan which really eased my nerves. I can’t recommend VEG enough for a pet emergency. Madi and her team are truly one of a kind. Cosmo is most grateful to be back to regularly scheduled kitten activities. Thank you so much for everything! ❤️
Bringing your pet in for an emergency is never fun, but VEG went above and beyond to take amazing care of my dog. They walked me through all options and in the end surgery was needed. They took such great care of our doggo, and I was relieved they knew so much and were experienced with brachycephalic breeds. The staff were incredibly accommodating, making sure we were comfortable and even offering a private room and bed so I could spend the night with my dog. Very grateful this is the vet we choose and for the top notch care given to my fur baby. He’s home safe and sound thanks to VEG ❤️
This is the second time we’ve brought our dog Harley to VEG, and once again, she received exceptional treatment and wonderful care. Every member of the staff is professional, friendly, and compassionate. We really appreciate being able to stay with our pet throughout the entire process — it makes such a difference. Even the atmosphere is thoughtful; the music selection was fantastic and made the time spent there much more pleasant. It’s refreshing to experience such genuine care and attention to detail, right down to avoiding the typical “elevator” music most places play. A special thank-you to Dr. Beckwith and Dr. McCarten for their hard work and the personalized attention they provide during every visit. We’re truly grateful for the care and compassion everyone at VEG has shown to Harley and our family.
