My grandchild and I arrived 15 mins early for the 10 am class. As we signed in, the woman ( possibly the owner) at the front counter was indifferent…no greeting. At 10 am, she mispronounced names from the sign in sheet when preparing for class. Instead of children being seated by 10 for the 10 am class, they were still in the waiting area being given the choice to paint or do a project. Then they were directed to the specified classroom. My grandchild chose to do a project. At 11 o’clock I walked into the classroom to find an unfinished project which I helped her to complete. Two sisters, sitting across from her, were awaiting paint brushes so they could finish the project…not enough supplies for 7 children. When situated in the car, I asked if she enjoyed the class. She said it was okay but did not want to come again.
The Vinnings School of Art is truly a hidden gem! We couldn't be happier with our experience here. The value for your money is unbeatable and the prices are incredibly reasonable, especially considering the quality of instruction and all the materials that are included. I would very highly recommend!
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Vinings Art School with my daughter, and I am beyond impressed! Even though it was almost closing time, the owner graciously welcomed us and, on the fly, set up an art class just for my daughter. Her kindness and dedication to ensuring my daughter had a memorable experience were truly remarkable. She guided my daughter through a creative and engaging art project with such care and patience. It’s rare to find a place where children are so thoughtfully nurtured and encouraged in their creativity. We’ll definitely be back for future camps and art classes. Vinings Art School is a gem!
Kara hosted my daughter and I for some much needed Mommy time. She guided us through the art and provided lots of great materials and choice of canvas. We enjoyed our experience. 🧡 we will Return.
My daughter has been attending camps, group lessons and individual lessons at VSA for many years. Her weekly group drawing class with Coni is her favorite activity of the week. Coni always has a lesson plan for the students. I attach a recent example of one of my daughter's drawings that she drew in her drawing class with Coni. Kara, the owner of VSA, provides a great service to our Smyrna/Vinings community. She has worked tirelessly during the past year to continue to give the art students the ability to safely continue their passion. We are very thankful for her efforts.
