This place is awesome. Looks like a hole in the wall, but out of this world taste. The food is phenomenal, the service was super prompt and friendly. Definitely gets added to list of top Italian restaurants
Overall just ok. The Caesar salad was good. The garlic knots were very garlicky. The pizza was OK, but just OK. I think we ordered wrong, as we ordered the white pizza and we should’ve gone with something more traditional. I was also surprised that they only served beer and wine. No ciders or liquor.
Ordered takeout via an app. Restaurants with a name like “uncle Vinny”, in my experience, can either be really good or plain scary. having never been there, I was relieved to find that this was one of the good ones. Atmosphere is very cozy, more conducive to small groups. Is family friendly but not a place for uncontrolled or screaming kids. The staff was very friendly yet not overdoing it so much it feels fake. We walked in at just the time the app said the food would be ready and did have to wait a few minutes although I don’t fault them as there were probably ten others waiting for orders (plus a mostly full dining area). Throughout the relatively short wait, staff greeted and smiled at us. We were standing in the corner closest to the kitchen and I barely overheard one staff member say “I haven’t even had time to catch a breath” and only point this out to say you would never know how rushed she felt by her friendly and patient interactions with guests. Pizza was pretty good for CB, but I feel the sauce needed a little more ‘umph’ to be a 10/10. Will def come back for more. Probably wouldn’t do the desserts again tho. Overall, great atmosphere, great (takeout) service and pretty good food!
My husband and I have eaten here a couple of times and have enjoyed it each time. The salad before the meal is always very fresh. The bread and the bruschetta are also very good. We have had wonderful service here each time, they never let my tea get less than half full.
I hate to admit this but I always judge restaurants in shopping centers for some reason. However, this place is legitimate. First off, the service here is impeccable, our waitress was on top of everything and even packed our food for us at the end of the meal. The place also has an extremely home style feel to it, come as you are and enjoy the food. Everything I tried tonight was absolutely phenomenal and tasted super fresh. My husband and I will definitely be going back here again. Quick tip though, come hungry, the portions are huge. Be ready to share or have leftovers.
