Our favorite wine shop in Houston. You can sample a small sip of many of the small production wines and purchase a bottle to take home or enjoy on site. The wines are fairly priced, not found in major retailers, and the owner is a gem. Wonderful experience, knowledgeable staff!
Wine selection: always changing, staff are very knowledgeable and able to guide you to a glass or bottle you are sure to enjoy Staff: great wine knowledge, approachable Ambience: 10/10. >1000 bottle selection. Regulars form a great community. You can bring nice dogs that like to be petted. Value: 1/2 price glasses Tuesday, $10 Wednesday. You can bring in your own food or they are happy to provide a cheese board. First Friday of each month has a great steak night. Best value in town.
The main manager is a Houston establishment. One of the sommeliers can benefit from therapy or yoga. Wrong profession Mr grumpy pants. Venue is cool and so are the patrons. Wine selection is super exclusive and virtually impossible to find anywhere else. 9/10 recommend but only because parking is tight
The staff here are passionate about wine. They will explain the wines and listen to what you want and get you to try something new you will love. This is a fantastic place to pick up wine or taste a flight at the bar. Definitely come and experience the “neighborhood “ wine bar that is classy fun and informative
This place is awesome! If you are even mildly interested in learning about wine, this is a great place to go. The service is excellent. The wine is your choice, hopefully you find the one you like but that is what the servers are for. The servers help you find something based on what you like. The prices are very reasonable for what you are getting. I would recommend going on a Tuesday to catch a all the newest selections.
