Always a pleasure. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Fleur has retired and Yvan and Belle are the new store cats.
I love this place so much! All locations but the Whyte Ave one is my fave. I pop in every once in a while especially looking for interesting used vinyls and CDs and they don't disappoint! Quite impressive for what is technically a used bookstore!
Great book store, deep second hand collection, lovely atmosphere. Really Enjoyed my time there.
Went to get some books for my sister and had a cute encounter from this fuffy, such a beautiful collection of books from all genre.
Weebook Inn is one of my favorite bookstores in Edmonton. I’ve been to both the Whyte Ave and Jasper Ave locations, and I love them. The vibe is cozy, quiet, and perfect for browsing. It really feels like stepping into a different time—no rush, no pressure, just shelves full of books waiting to be explored. The Whyte Ave location even has a beautiful resident cat named Fleur! If you’re lucky, you’ll spot her lounging around. I think their bookmarks (used as book card holders) are based on her—at least that’s what someone there told me, and it just makes the whole place feel extra special. Their prices are amazing, especially for used books. As someone who reads a lot, I really appreciate that they make books more affordable. It’s great to see good books being reused and loved again. And if they don’t have what you’re looking for, you can ask them to keep an eye out for it. They’ll even give you a call when it comes in. The staff are super friendly and really know their stuff. You can ask for recommendations, talk about different authors or genres, or just chat. They’re always happy to help. They also answer phone calls if you prefer to ask your questions that way. Overall, I always have a great time at Weebook Inn. It’s the kind of place where you can spend hours browsing and never get bored. Whether you’re a serious reader or just looking for something new to read, I highly recommend stopping by.
