The food was good and warm I like wendys a lot and eat at one whenever I can, but my issue was getting a frosty we ordered a medium but the lady gave us a small and swore it was a medium when we asked to see the small size she showed us the junior cup and argued with us but I know for a fact that a medium is a 16 oz cup the small is around 9 or 10 oz which is what we got. And the junior is like 6 oz. I don't work at wendys but I know from every other wendys I've ate at a medium is not a small. And I don't appreciate being told by an employee "you don't know what you're talking about, I work here and you dont this is a medium", it was rude, disrespectful and straight up robbery. Teach your employees proper sizes and portions and how to have respect for the people paying. 10 years ago I would have thrown it back through the window at the rude entitled child but a lot of kids are rude now days that would get extremely expensive to throw my food back at each one. First and LAST time at this location. I went through the drive through, ordered a #3 with spicy nuggets, a large fries, and a large Oreo brownie frosty. Already on the freeway before I realized they gave me regular nuggets and didn't even blend the frosty, just put some drizzle on the side of the cup and a few Oreo crumbs on top. They also didn't give me my receipt and when I looked at my credit card statement, they over charged me by 30%. Seems like they gave themselves a nice tip. Probably why they didn't give me a receipt when they handed back my card and the food.
I visited Wendy’s last Monday (9-29-2025; the picture below shows the rewards being granted as I went through the drive thru to order my food and used the rewards at the window). The food was good but I believe there was something wrong with my Chicken sandwich deluxe from the biggie bag meal. I bit into and it tasted kind of wonky but I didn’t pay it no mind at the moment. Fast forward about 4 hours later I was vomiting (I believe I got food poisoning) all night and it was a terrible experience for me. I had to miss my classes at Sac State for a day and a half due to the nauseous feeling I had all day (along with a 102 fever) and I couldn’t eat anything solid for 2 whole days. I like Wendy’s but I am highly skeptical on returning at all to this establishment.
The staff was not professional, this was July 29 2025. I have been so busy but I wanted to share my experience. There is a strange establishment nearby so that could make things really weird for them but they were not using the app and couldn't take it. Then tried not to give me my receipt and very combative. I go to the Wendy's in my hometown and this was the worst service I received at a Wendy's. Hopefully they have improved.
Great service and great food. This is conveniently located on the way to the airport so I was able to stop for a quick breakfast. When I came in, they were not busy at all. So I ordered right away and then the food was done within a few minutes. The bacon egg and cheese English muffin is a good deal and the potato wedges are really good. The potato wedges are my favorite, they are cooked perfectly and very crispy. And overall the restaurant is very clean, and a great location.
