They take amazing care of their horses, and are wonderfull, fun, people. Evonnes daughter is truly spectacular and really funny, would recommend for people looking to do lessons, boarding, and begginer riders!
My review is for horse boarding the year of 2021. Worst management ever. Highest DRAMA boarding facility I have encountered in my 30+ years as an equestrian. TOXIC environment. I HAVE RECEIPTS FROM EVERY SINGLE BOARD PAYMENT. Thank GOD I keep all my receipts, and have a backup digital copy as well. For more than 6 months, every time I saw Yvonne I asked for an invoice and "stated please tell me my balance, I want to pay it in full." EVERY TIME she replied "I'll get that for you sweetie...no problem" THE Only way to get to get AN INVOICE was to put in my 30 day notice... Which Yvonne FINALLY PROVIDED A "final bill" of $2500 invoice, and locked by corral gate. She has done this to multiple other boarders when they put in their 30 day notice, one of them an Attorney. The ranch DOES NOT KEEP ANY RECORDS OF PAYMENTS MADE BY THEIR BOARDERS. Zilch, zero. Lied to my face about this. They keep no records at all. She blamed others for 'stealing them.' My final board check of $600 was never cashed, despite myself handing it to Evonne. The stable does not deposit board payments.... I had to call the Sheriff for assistance removing my horse from Windsor and "keep the peace...." Only board here if you want PTSD on departure... They" lost" my brand new Winter blanket...$600. I do not recommend boarding here, it was a nightmare!!!
Windsor Equestrian isn’t the boarding facility you want, it’s the one you need. Oh wait, it’s also the one you want!! Evonne runs the place, and she is kind, funny, incredibly knowledgeable, and fair AND TRUSTWORTHY. A trait that is sometimes hard to find in the horse community. She’s gonna give it to you exactly as is—in the best possible way—and make sure you’re getting your value’s worth. She didn’t start Windsor to get rich, started it to create a little slice of horse heaven. And she’s doing exactly that! Evonne found the perfect horse for me and started me on lessons in a way that helped me reconnect with horses and trust in horses again after I took a very bad fall a few years back. The stalls are well taken care of, with regularly cleanings and timely feedings of quality hay. There are cameras around the property, so if something happens with your horse, you’ll know exactly what happened. There is always someone there who has an eye on the horses, at Windsor your horse’s wellbeing is THE priority. I am so thankful for Evonne’s care and understanding and meeting me where I was at in order to make sure I had the best possible experience at Windsor. I’m a fan for life.
Evonne, her family, and workers are all such fantastic and caring people! They went above and beyond to take the best care of my horse, and myself! Excellent facilities with everything you could need, I cannot recommend Windsor enough!💕
Windsor Equestrian Center has some very nice facilities. But what really makes Windsor so great is that it's like you were keeping your horse at your family's ranch. Evonne, the owner, and Pedro, the facility manager, really care -- and I mean personally care -- about every horse they board. They pay attention to every single one of them just like each one was a favorite pet of theirs. I've gotten texts from Evonne several times letting me know my horse was in a bad mood -- not sick or colicking -- just out of sorts. And she was right! She's also occasionally sent me a picture or a video of my horse just messing around and having fun. It's that kind of place. If you want cookie-cutter corporate boarding, Windsor isn't for you. But if you want a place where your horse will be well cared for, looked after -- and happy -- Windsor is the place to be . . . If they've got an open spot!
