This shop is the perfect counter to those larger and expansive liquor stores. Here you don't need roller skates to get from one end of the store to the other, and one isn't forced to cruise through a snack-filled labyrinth of salt and oil tidbits. Here I can walk up to the owner and have a pleasant conversation about a wonderful French wine at a great price point, and then roll right into a conversation on Pac-12 football. Brian is a very engaging shopkeeper and he is an outstanding knowledge source on wines and spirits (and the Washington Huskies). I recommend you check out his shop, have a chat with Brian about what it is you're seeking, and he'll steer you in the right direction. You can't go wrong!
I love the new iteration of this shop! The wine bar is beautiful, the under $20 table is delightful, and the owner somehow remembers what I bought last time. Great wines, knowledgable staff. A gem.
Went for the Friday tasting, which included exactly what I wanted to drink poured in a gorgeous little bar by incredibly nice experts, surrounded by a fun crowd. Exceptionally good value too! What a gem!
Love this place! Friday wine samplers are good and have a lot of variation - Like wines from Georgia! They just set up a cute bar area in the back as well. Hot tip: You can order tons and tons of wine or liquor. I got bottles of Ginja from Portugal shipped to me!
Cute little shop with friendly staff! Shop attendant is clearly knowledgeable & passionate about wine and made sure to recommend items within my budget. Prices are clearly labeled on bottles and they have a lot of unique spirit offerings. Can’t wait until they start offering tastings!
