I’m confused about what the name of the place actually is. But it’s a really fun record & book store.
Stopped in for the record selection. It's a great selection that you can spend all day digging through. Plus they have books which is another great hobby of mine.
Fresh vibe to books. I love shopping more at random than by author. Also, great AC on a melt your face off hot day. 🔥
This bookshop is such an asset to Westport! I stumbled upon it while walking the neighborhood and it's a real gem. The manager is very helpful and friendly, which is a nice change from most moody booksellers. I love the shop: it's small enough to not feel overwhelming but their selection is broad enough for everyone to find something. I absolutely love that they mix in old and new books, and you can tell that the people running the shop have their finger on the pulse of what's new, interesting, and different in books. They have an awesome selection of used books which range from classics to some obscure, fascinating finds. They also have a great local author and topic section. All in all, this is an excellent store and will be a great community space. Support your local book store!
Wise Blood is a lovely bookstore in Westport and is a great addition to the area! They have variety of genre selection (including used and new books), a small kid's books section, coloring books (adults and children), notebooks/pens (moleskin style stuff), and were very welcoming when my husband and I walked in. They feature local art on the back wall - we went to a "meet the artist" event one evening (Hubbard Savage is the local artist featured - he's super talented!). There were also some musicians who played and also did some spoken word type of stuff, both of which were delightful! I think they intend to do stuff like that regularly. They have a little seating area that's comfy if you wanna sit and flip through a stack of books when you're trying to decide which to get. I will definitely be back - this place is amazing. Highly recommend you stop reading this review, get in your car/on a bike, and go check it out!
