I have been going to Woodhouse Spa in Golden for many years and while it is quite expensive - it is consistent. They recently changed/updated the "Quiet Room" adding much more seating. While I understand their reasons for doing this, I do find the new set up quite crowded and maybe less comfortable (quiet) than it used to be. I am someone who only goes during the weekdays so I cannot speak to the ambiance on a busy weekend day when I am sure it gets filled with bridal parties or "girls spa day" groups. But when I am there, the quiet room is typically empty. On my last visit I received a "Sports Stretch" service. I wasn't sure what to expect but what I got was an AMAZING myofascial release for. my low back and hips. Lashon was seriously one of the most skilled massage therapists I have ever had work on me and I have had A LOT of massages due to being in elite athletics most of my life. She accomplished so much in a 50-minute session. Highly recommend asking for her specifically. Woodhouse offers some great discounts once you are on their email list so it's a long game if you want to splurge yet, save a little. Great day spa!
Do not waste your time . To say I am disappointed is an understatement. I came here for a deluxe hyra facial and a derma flash. I was finally treating myself post double mastectomy and reconstruction so I was very excited. The "quite area" is the most unrelaxing quiet area I've ever experienced. Groups of women are talking and the chairs are super uncomfortable. As I began my session the esthetician said she didn't recommend I did the hydrafacial with the derma flash which when I booked was never a message that popped up. She then asked if my skin was sensitive. I told her no, I was on prescription retinol and I had no real concerns. She said I was unable to do the hydrafacial because I was on retinol which was never a message I was given before the facial either. What was supposed to be a relaxing day turned into honestly a nightmare I left without getting any services and crying in my car. The front desk staff was unapologetic and honestly didn't care at all. Also a word to anyone that wants to do a relaxing spa day with girlfriends. There's no sauna or steam room or really any place to relax. Take your money elsewhere. The staff obviously didn't care about my situation at all.
As a massage therapist, I am quite picky about massage. I’m not typically a spa person, but I LOVE this place. It is special in every way. Everyone who works there is so nice. The front desk is helpful and warm. Every massage therapist and esthetician I’ve seen is highly skilled, kind, and genuinely caring. Massage sessions feel very personalized and unique, each therapist really listened to my requests and tailored the massage to me. I don’t know much about esthetics, but I learn something new every time I’ve gone, and feel the whole body relaxation benefits, way beyond just having a glowing face. The atmosphere is also really cozy and inviting. I’m so grateful to have had some generous gift certificates to this place this year. Now my family knows what to get me for every birthday :)
Wonderful experience! I’ve been getting my nails done here before my wedding and the nail technicians really take the time to make sure they take care of your nails! They always do a consistently excellent job no matter which technician I’ve had for an appointment.
Great experience. Welcoming staff. The robes are incredible. The quiet room is a lovey break from life. The massage was incredible. Taylor was amazing! They gave me a complementary wine with a little board with my name on it. Great, luxurious experience.
