Ordered at 12:45 PM in front of the Winston Salem courthouse. I am keto, so I struggled a bit with the menu, but landed on Brisket and collards, no bbq sauce. With tip it was $30. I got one small container of brisket with bacon sprinkled on top. And a small side of collards. Wish I had that to do over again. As others have said the Collards are a standout. The brisket was neither super tender nor flavorful. If you cover it in sugar it might be better. Enjoy.
We hired this food truck for an event with about 100 people, and the food was phenomenal. We had a British theme and requested fish and chips, which I heard were very good. They also had shrimp, brisket, or mac & cheese. Myself, I chose the shrimp and they were done really well! They were a good size and were seasoned to perfection. Also loved the seasoning and crispness of the fries! There was a side sauce included that was perfect for dipping both shrimp and fries. I love good seafood and Wutyasay hit the spot. Everyone seemed very happy with the food!
They did the food for my niece’s birthday party. I enjoyed the fried fish, the mac-n-cheese and green beans. Others raved about the collard greens & the fried collard greens. My daughter enjoyed the fried shrimp. The corn dogs were good too. Will definitely take any opportunity to enjoy their food again!
#1 best thing about this place - DEEP FRIED collards, egg roll style. Absolutely delicious, 5 diff kinds of cheese with grated cheese on top. One of the best things I've ever eaten; wife can't stand collards, but she hammered down on hers. Cannot wait to see this truck again. The service could have been faster, but it was super hot outside so I know the truck was blazing. I liked their 10 minute catch-up breaks as it allowed the backlog of people to get their orders complete and feel prioritized. Overall about 30-35 minutes from stepping in line at spot 5 => food ready. Thank you!
His specialty desserts are amazing. I especially like the strawberry crunch cake. 😋 The deep fried collards are amazing. I really like the fish and shrimp plate. It is amazing and the sides ( oh don't forget the sides), mac -n-cheese, vegetarian collards, baked beans, just to name a few. I have tried the food on more than one occasion and I have not been disappointed. Well worth it.
