I’m a fitness enthusiast and have tried many fitness classes including Pilates. I am astounded at the difference with the classical style of Pilates that Yaletown Pilates offers. I loved the precision, the equipment work and the difference the one-on-one personal instruction provided me. The combination helped me understand my body like never before and brought awareness to mindful movement and how to move and connect correctly. I also loved that the studio is a dedicated space for 1 person and the privacy of not having other people in the studio during my session. Since adding Pilates I have noticed a huge difference. The studio is in a new stunning building - the old Post office on Georgia street. Super clean and disinfected which is very important to me and hard to find in a large facility. I highly recommend Yaletown Pilates and Kulvinder is highly experienced and very passionate about what she does.
I am loving my Pilates sessions at Yaletown Pilates! Kulvinder is absolutely amazing, she is passionate, talented and very knowledgeable and skilled. Kulvinder really takes the time to explain every exercise and position in detail and in a very comprehensive way. I appreciate her support and guidance. She challenges me, which motivates me to do it better and I like seeing the progress every day and my body getting stronger and more flexible, it feels great!
After 3 months of weekly classes, I’m now addicted & can’t recommend Kulvinder & Yaletown Pilates enough. An intimate studio with top notch equipment thats comfortable & perfect for 1on1 or Duo classes. Kulvinder’s knowledge from years of training & practice makes her one of the best instructors anywhere. Her step by step hands on approach is thorough & with many elements to think of, this is one hour of pure magic where one is concentrated on nothing but themselves & indulges in the understanding of one’s own body. Attending regular pilates classes has made a serious change in my mind, body and strength level. Absolute game changer.
I was able to do a series of Pilates with Kulvinder after an injury and found the experience very helpful and rehabilitative. She has a deep understanding of movement and the body and explains concepts clearly . It has made me so much more body aware and the instructions she gives has helped me tremendously in my every day life and with all my other fitness goals - strength training and cardio . A series of sessions will definitely change your body in a very positive way. For anyone thinking of trying Pilates I would highly recommend this studio - it is an accepting environment and Kulvinder also will challenge you in the sessions as you progress . I loved every class !
