My daughter finished the music wonderland class recently and we just went to the demo for JMC1. Ms. Jillian was able to go thru the interactive demo and explain the stages of how the learning process happens. It was very informative and made us feel confident our daughter would be a good fit for the class. She had such a great experience in the music wonderland class with Ms. Melanie and excited to start the next set of classes.
My kids have been going to Ya Music for a long time. The teachers are super nice, care deeply about their musical journey, and are dedicated to ensuring they have the best piano learning environment possible. Whether it is with their group lessons or their single classes, Jillian and Melanie make sure that my kids feel special and get the attention that they need in order to flourish. I also appreciate the flexible schedule they provide, especially later evenings on weekdays so that our weekends are a little more open for family activities.
YaMusic is an amazing school and I feel very confident in the quality of piano training my children receive there. Ms. Melanie has taught both my kids for years and she is exceptional! She is truly called to be a music educator and I'm very thankful for her knowledge, her care, and her joy-filled approach.
This is our second year with YaMusic and we couldn't be happier! Our daughter started piano here at the age of 4 and has progressed at such a great pace. Both Ms. Jillian and Ms. Melanie have been awesome teachers - always upbeat and great at maintaining a fun, yet structured environment! The approach to learning as a group is one we really enjoy, as it takes the direct spotlight off of kids that may be shy or anxious to start (as our daughter was), but also gives them the opportunity to perform solos when they are ready. The emphasis on singing as you play has also really helped develop our daughter's musicality. As parents, we’ve enjoyed be part of this experience with our child and highly recommend YaMusic to anyone ready to start this journey!
We love the Apple Music class for 2-3 year olds at YaMusic. My daughter was initially shy but now enjoys the songs, dancing and musical stories to learn rhythm and simple melodies. Jillian is a very engaging teacher and has a beautiful voice. All the instruments and song book (a useful purchase with the course) are very high quality. We love the songs & the format (45 minutes) with lots of fun, engaging content that’s perfect for little ones. We are enjoying YaMusic!
