I’d like to give a five-star review to Zhang YaoWu Art School! My older daughter has been attending for years—she started when she was just 6 and now she’s 12. Over the years, she’s grown from using colored pencils to painting, and now she’s learning sketching. She truly loves being here. The instructors are incredibly patient and professional, especially Mrs. Tao—she’s one of the most patient people I’ve ever met. They tailor their guidance based on each child’s level and interests, creating a supportive and inspiring learning environment. I highly recommend this school to anyone looking to nurture their child’s artistic growth!

I love this art studio. When I first started, I had no experience and didn’t know what to expect. The teachers are professional, friendly, and truly care about each student’s growth. They gave me individual attention and guided me through every step of the learning process, helping me build skills across different art mediums. Now, almost ten years later, I’ve been successful in art competitions and have grown into a confident, skilled artist. If you're thinking about learning art, I highly recommend giving this studio a try.

Teacher Zhang and Teacher Tao are the two most professional, patient, and caring teachers in Houston. They both have over twenty years of teaching experience in Houston, and they have an excellent reputation. Both teachers graduated from the top art academies in China. The young teacher, Daqian Zhang, graduated from the Florence Academy of Art. Students taught by them show exceptional talent in painting. They unearth the unique talents of each child based on their individual characteristics, thus earning numerous awards. Many students have won major awards, such as the Scholastic Art & Writing National Award and first place in the Congress Art Competition, with their works selected for display in Washington DC. Many children start learning to paint here at the age of four or five, and under the guidance of the two teachers, they participate in Rodeo competitions and win high auction prizes by the time they reach high school. These awards also provide significant returns for children in terms of further education, as some students have been accepted into top universities such as Harvard, Princeton, Cornell, and elite art schools，etc. This is why, after being recommended by friends, we chose this place. My two children love it here. As soon as they enter their studio, they can feel the quiet and peaceful atmosphere, with only sparks of art colliding here. We will continue to paint here. Every teacher in Zhang Yaowu Art Center is very professional. Many of them have earned top achievements in countless mediums of art. Not only do they teach painting, but they also teach color pencil, sketch, watercolor, and much, much more. They are not only good at art, but also good at teaching. My kids love learning art at this school. My son has been learning for almost 7 years and my daughter has been learning for almost 3 years. They are making outstanding progress and surprise me all the time. My kids show great art abilities in the school district. They have created beautiful class-related projects. My son won the Rodeo art contest, designed posters, decorated the classroom, designed the class logo, etc. I am glad that my kids learn art at this school. They enjoy learning and love their teachers
