AJ and Alex made it easy making a reservation for my husband's 40th birthday. Everything was AMAZING!!! The staff was friendly and helpful. Audrey our waitress was AWESOME! The food was YUMMY! We ordered a variety of food on the menu and it didn't disappoint. We definitely will be back!
Audrey was an excellent waitress! She provided great service from start to finish—very knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. She checked on us frequently without being overbearing and made sure everything was perfect. We really appreciated her upbeat energy. She definitely made our experience at 1Up even better. Highly recommend asking for Audrey!
I’m writing this review because I was surprised by how high the ratings were compared to our experience. The location itself is pretty small. We tried both the sports simulator and the dark room. The dark room was fun, but the sports simulator was pretty disappointing. We ran into issues shortly after paying. The screen wouldn’t allow us to select two players or change any options once a game was selected, which limited the experience. Beau was helpful when answering our questions and setting up our area, but beyond that it felt like we had to track someone down just to get started. Even once we began, we had to go back to the front to make sure we received our full allotted play time. While we were playing, we were interrupted by kids asking to have a turn. I understand this isn’t necessarily the company’s fault but it did take away from the experience. The arcade and axe-throwing areas also looked small and didn’t really seem appealing enough to try. On a positive note, the food was good—we ordered two appetizers and enjoyed them. Overall, the experience wasn’t enough to make us want to return or recommend it to others.
1up hosted a homeschool event for my kids homeschool group. 1up was incredibly accommodating. We had a Tues a movie in one of the upper rooms, then the kids played in the arcade for an hour. The arcade is clean, smells nice, and has a great assortment of games (all of which were working). They also have bowling and axe throwing. I recommend checking it out!
My wife and I took our son for his 10th birthday to this location for the first time. Customer service all around with everyone there was a 10/10! Everyone was extremely nice and professional. Today on Tuesday they had an unlimited game play with the arcade which our kids and ourselves had a blast!!!! My wife and I grab some drinks from the bar which was really good! Food was as good as we will and very fresh. This is definitely a family friendly location and suggests everyone to come. S/O to the staff today! We will be coming back!!!
