Arguably some of the best pho I have ever had. For sure the best Ca Kho braised carmelized catfish in the world. Ca kho has little to no fishy flavor commonly found if made elsewhere.
The next time you're craving Phở remember this review!!! 😋🍜 Customer Service 🌟 :: Phenomenal! ● Phở 🍜 I ordered the kid portion Phở with no meat and swapped out the rice noodles for egg noodles. It was super flavorful and delicious!! ● Vietnamese Catfish 🐟 They filet their catfish very uniquely. Some parts of the fish are slimy, but it's always a nice amount of meat!! I loved the fried potato bits as a topper. This paired well with steamed rice. It's hard to explain the flavor, but it was so good!
Easily one of the best pho bowls I’ve had. Flavorful broth, perfect noodles, tender meat, and generous portions. Great service, friendly staff, and very affordable for the size.
07/27/2025: I ordered food for my family and highly recommend the canh chua ca (sour soup with catfish) is so good. It’s almost better than homemade. My family has been here multiple times and recommends 286. I would definitely get the canh chua again. The pho dad biet was okay. You definitely get your bang for your buck, but the broth wasn’t as flavorful as it could be. The meat was cooked well and generously portioned. The noodles and fresh vegetables were also up to snuff. I’m glad they have online ordering, which is very convenient.
I’m so happy to be lucky enough to have such a wonderful and flavorful pho restaurant near my house, literally 2 minutes away haha 😆 . Portion, flavor, atmosphere, friendliness, and above all cleanliness. Honestly I kind of wish I knew about this place sooner , but better late than never. A big and humble shoutout to Lan for always showing us great hospitality and a genuine happy smile that would light up anyone day. Overall I’ve been coming here nearly almost every week , sometimes two times a week. They know me by now. Added , if you ever have that one person that is really picky with food? For me that person is my mom , and she loves this place , that’s saying something. But I know a lot of people have different tastebuds and may have other choices for their ideal pho restaurant, but give this restaurant a try that’s all I’m asking. Who knows , you might come every week like me. Anyway , see you next week 286 Noodle House ❤️😁
