I was in DC for work, traveling from Richmond, when my car suddenly lost steering power after the drive belts snapped. Thankfully the closest shop was AF Auto Repair and I had it towed there. They immediately diagnosed the issue, replaced both the serpentine/drive belts and the power steering pump the same day, and made sure everything was running perfectly before I hit the road again. They saved me a lot of money compared to what I expected to pay. If you’re ever stuck in DC with car trouble, this is the shop you want to call. Highly recommend!
AF Auto is a lifesaver!! I had a rat in my engine and I had no idea what to do. I brought my car to AF and they cleaned everything out and truly saved my car. They were super affordable and I had my car back within two days. Highly recommend them for any car emergency!!

Went because I thought something was off in my car. The mechanic was thoughtful and helped explain what was going on with my ac compressor and at a reasonable price. Great service and just a kind person. Hard to find trust in mechanics thank you for taking the time today to fix my ac given the heat. 10/10
My daughter needed a new oil pan for her Golf Sportwagen. Really great clear communication from AF Auto on options and costs. My daughter was really pleased with the work done. They kept her informed and showed her the work when she picked the car up. Nice job.
