Searching for a parking spot this morning, I saw one far away, but next to the A Tour of Possibilities van. Y'all, I parked next to this van just because of how much this organization changed me and my view of the world. I grew up in Germantown, TN (a suburb populated by white flight) but was blessed with parents who tried their best to continually show me the beautiful community and culture of the city of Memphis. I have always loved this town. I know a lot of its story but have had the privilege to remain ignorant to so much. Carolyn Michael-Banks is a tour guide. She is a storyteller. She is an educator. She is a shepherd. Years after taking my first ride on A Tour of Possibilities, I can still hear Carolyn's voice in my head when I drive around certain corners in Memphis. She invites me to be curious, to be brave, to be kind, to embrace truth, and to *Believe in Possibilities.* Aside from the fact that she will make you smile and laugh and want to be her best friend, she will empower you to want to be the best you in a world that is crying out for change--and to know that it is entirely Possible.

Queen is a true gem. We had an amazing afternoon learning about the history of Memphis. Who would have thought the Bass Pro Shop would be a place to experience--it truly is. We truly appreciated the city and it's history. If you are going to Memphis--take the time to take her tour and experience the city through her eyes. thank you Queen.

My sister, brother and I, for our 2021 annual sibling trip, had originally scheduled a tour of Memphis with the Tour of Possibilities and, more particularly, with its owner and operator, Queen, but due to Covid we had to cancel the tour. Four years later, in 2025, we were able to reschedule the tour with Queen. We’re so glad we did. We very much enjoyed our tour with Queen and our stay in Memphis. She is a very vivacious woman and shares valuable tidbits and facts about the history and current ongoing of Memphis. It’s a fun city to visit. We can assure you that you will enjoy The Tour of Possibilities, in particular, and more generally the great city of Memphis.. Queen made us feel so welcomed on the tour and greatly enhanced our journey with hidden treasures of Memphis. We will always remember Queen, the tour and our great time in Memphis. Thank you Queen!

I scheduled a private tour with 4 adults for our first visit to Memphis. The owner/operator , Queen, was our tour guide. She was warm and welcoming from the minute we arrived. Her deep knowledge of the city and its long history of the African American experience was priceless. We learned so much in just a few hours time. Queen kept us laughing as well as bringing us to tears with her stories of the people who have played important roles in past and present Memphis.
