Absolute Recomp has some incredible things going for it. The equipment is top-tier with an impressive variety that makes it a bodybuilder’s paradise. The 24-hour access is a huge plus for those of us who like to train either very early or very late, and the location is super convenient with plenty of parking available. I also appreciate that early mornings and midday hours are never crowded — I’ve never had to wait for a machine or cable attachment, which is rare and very much appreciated. That said, the gym has a bit of a warehouse feel, and unfortunately, that seems to affect cell service inside — it’s virtually nonexistent. While the gym does offer Wi-Fi, it doesn’t actually work. When I asked about it, the staff mentioned that they usually disconnect Wi-Fi on their phones, which somehow improves connectivity — but that hasn’t been my experience. As someone who works remotely and needs to stay connected, the lack of reliable service or functional Wi-Fi is a dealbreaker. It’s disappointing because everything else about the gym is fantastic. I really hope management looks into improving the Wi-Fi situation because this place could easily be one of the best gyms in the area. Overall, Absolute Recomp is a great facility for serious lifters and those who don’t need to stay connected while training — but for my needs, I can’t see myself returning to this location.
The staff here is as amazing as their equipment selection is, if not better. Wyatt is super nice and talkative and personally greets me by name every time I walk in and out of the gym. Jose is equally as nice, talkative and opens the front doors for any guest who makes their way to the gym. 10/10 would recommend coming here
Been coming to this gym for a year now and it’s been the best experience. Coming from a background of commercial gyms (LA fitness, 24 hour fitness, TTF, etc), i’ve tried every type of gym and their offered equipment and honestly AR has had the best. Everyone here is friendly and the staff is really helpful. Definitely worth the price for a gym that isn’t ever too busy.
First time to visiting this location of AR! The vibe and atmosphere is on par with other locations! Equipment selection is top notch. AR Staff is always energetic and helpful! Will definately visit again!
Love this gym so much the staff is great and equipment is also always clean. Always come here late at night when there is no crowd and have a great experience. My favorite staff members are Tonka and Armando they are super nice and friendly. Definitely recommend this gym and I think it is worth the price.
