I cannot recommend ABT highly enough. George has been part of the ABT community since mid-2024 as a daycare dog, and over time, the care, professionalism, and genuine understanding shown by the team have made a huge difference to his life. After experiencing some challenging moments that affected his confidence, George transitioned from regular daycare into behavioural and social therapy sessions. From that point on, the support we received was exceptional. The team approached his needs with patience, compassion, and a deep understanding of dog behaviour, always prioritising his wellbeing and emotional safety. The social therapy program was incredibly well structured and informative, allowing George to rebuild confidence at his own pace in a calm, controlled environment. Communication throughout the process was clear and reassuring, and I always felt informed and supported as an owner. A special thank you to Ollie, who worked so closely with George throughout his journey. Her ability to read him, guide him gently, and build trust was remarkable. She was consistently thoughtful, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in his progress. Because of her care and the wider ABT team’s expertise, George has made an incredible transformation — he’s now a relaxed, confident, and happy dog who can enjoy social settings again. ABT doesn’t just provide training — they create a safe space for dogs to learn, grow, and thrive. I’m incredibly grateful for the positive impact they’ve had on George, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone seeking behavioural support or structured social therapy for their dog.
I take my elderly dog here for grooming as he no longer let's me do it. Staff are experienced, caring and did a fantastic job with no major issues.
I recently had my dog's grooming done at ABT. His fur had admittedly been overgrown, although we've never had any issues in the past with groomers. He was with ABT for a whole day, and returned to us with a cut under his eye and very uneven trim and his paws were shaved down but still had strands of fur left here and there. The report sent to us stated that he moved while grooming (which has never been an issue previously) causing the cut and that his eye will eventually heal up. Although, due to the severity of the cut and recurrent bleeding we decided to visit our vet who has given us antibiotics and further creams and a cone to ensure it doesn't get worse and infected. His hygiene areas were not properly shaved down and he gets stools stuck in his fur. He's also caught Kennel cough since being with ABT. Initially we were quoted $110 for the grooming and were called up later that there would be "some little extra" due to matting. It was when we went to pay it was revealed it's $190 (for a small Maltese Shih Tzu) which in our opinion is absurd. We've never had this experience with any other groomers. We've come to ABT before for training services which we felt were excellent, but we will not be returning nor recommending the grooming services.
My dog has been going to ABT for roughly 2 years now and she loves it! We have done obedience classes, daycare and academy. They are part of our weekly routine now and all the trainers are lovely! Their open days are also great to meet and greet and see the facilities!
Everyone at ABT are truly superstars!! Like, legit superstars and heroes! My beautiful kelpie cross, Rudi, has been attending classes and daycare at ABT, and without fail, every single experience has been nothing short of amazing. Thanks to ABT, we've grown into better and more confident owners. Rudi has participated in K9 Kindy, Adventure School, Level 1 Obedience, and regularly enjoys Doggy Daycare. She’s currently thriving in Paws Unleashed. The growth in Rudi’s focus and overall well-being, especially her energetic kelpie mind, is a direct result of the enriching environment provided by ABT. We can’t thank you enough for everything you’ve done for Rudi. We’re excited for all the adventures still ahead, knowing she’ll continue to flourish in your care!
