I called ahead about getting my daughter who has asthma checked out. Wanted to be seen or have prescription sent to pharmacy for her cough. Was told to go to the ER instead even though she is not having an asthma attack, just a cough that won’t go away, so it’s an asthma flare and that the inhaler isn’t helping. I told them I couldn’t afford ER and all I got was I’m sorry. Could have at least allowed us to come in to be seen and try out the nebulizer or prescription, but I guess getting off early on a Friday night is more important.
The professionals at this clinic were not only extremely knowledgeable and helpful, but they showed me extreme kindness. I was also treated in a timely manner, which I have found to be rare at an Urgent Care clinic. I will make sure that not only myself, but also my family, only go to this clinic when we need urgent care. Thank you so much for your friendliness and professionalism.
I was very pleased with my visit. Everyone was very friendly from the front desk to my Dr. Even though they were very busy they still made me feel like I was important. The Dr explained everything very well. I hope I don’t need to go again but if I do I’ll definitely use them.
I booked my AFC appointment online Saturday evening, for Sunday Morning. I uploaded all insurance and Identity information seamlessly and had no problems with check-in the following day. I was there when the doors opened, greeted nicely by the front desk staff, and was the first person seen. The waiting area was spotless and decorated warmly for the holidays. The Nurses assistant was kind as she took my vitals and the NP, Janine Kennedy, came in shortly after. She was personable, kind and I felt heard and seen. She had wonderful bed side manner and dare I say, a sense of humor! I never once felt like I had to convince her I was sick and wasn't given the "it's just a virus" spiel I usually get at the Erlanger walk-in clinic a block down. She assessed my symptoms professionally, provided a steroid shot and antibiotic for a sinus infection. There was a mix up once I left with my pharmacy and they fixed it immediately, even calling me to assure me that it was corrected and would be waiting for me in the correct location. I was incredibly grateful for this positive experience, relieved to finally be on the road to wellness. I would 100% recommend this location and provider. The next time illness arises, I won't hesitate for it to be my first stop.
Always a Great Experience! Every time I visit this urgent care, the staff is consistently friendly, helpful, and professional. They make what could be a stressful experience feel calm and easy. From check-in to care, everyone takes the time to listen and genuinely help. I’m always grateful for their kindness and efficiency — truly one of the best urgent care teams around!
