The food at Afrah Restaurant was good, and that’s definitely a positive. Another nice aspect was the staff’s attitude—everyone treats you with a smile, which makes the atmosphere welcoming. However, the experience was negatively impacted by a lack of transparency. The prices of two items were changed, and the servers did not automatically provide a receipt—you have to be careful and specifically ask for it. When we finally received the receipt, there were items added that we did not order, including a drink, even though we only had tap water. This did not appear to be an honest mistake.
My sister and I came to this establishment to try some authentic Mediterranean cuisine and we were NOT disappointed. The lunch buffet was phenomenal and as tasty as could be! The team was very pleasant and Chef Joseph was such a kind hearted gentleman. Frequently walking out to the food area to ensure cleanliness and also greet the customers. This was a great place to eat for my day in Texas! There’s even sweets and in house gelato for a side purchase. Very delicious.

The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between elegant and comfortable, making it great for both casual dining and special occasions. Now let’s talk about the food — which is absolutely out of this world. Afrah offers an incredible selection of authentic Mediterranean dishes, from hot and cold mezza to hearty main courses and desserts. Every dish we tried was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. You can truly taste the quality ingredients and the care that goes into every bite. A special mention goes to Chef Joe. His experience and talent shine through in every dish that leaves the kitchen. It’s clear he has mastered the art of Mediterranean cooking, and the passion he brings to his food makes the dining experience that much more memorable. The mezza dishes were a highlight — vibrant, fresh, and packed with authentic flavors. Whether you enjoy classics like hummus, baba ghanoush, tabbouleh, or more elaborate hot appetizers, there’s something to please every palate. Moving on to the main courses, the variety was impressive, and everything was cooked to perfection. Tender meats, aromatic spices, and generous portions made each dish stand out. We are trying out different Mediterranean food restaurants. Afrah in Richardson didn’t disappoint. The waiter had a wonderful conversation with us. Food tasted good and came out fresh. The garlic sauce was really tasty. I also stopped and purchased some baklava after our dinner.
We went to Afrah Mediterranean Restaurant, and it was absolutely delicious! The food was fresh, flavorful, and served in generous portions. There was so much food that everyone was sharing and trying each other’s dishes — we had such a fun time! I especially loved the warm, soft bread. Everything tasted authentic and made with care. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was welcoming. I’ll definitely be back!
