We needed an air conditioner for our new build and reached out to a few companies for quotes. From the start, Elliott and his team really stood out. They explained everything in a way that was easy to understand (even with no prior knowledge) and took the time to go through the best options for our home and lifestyle. Nothing ever felt rushed, and they were always polite and professional no matter how many questions I had. The quote was very competitive, but honestly the service alone was worth every cent. The whole process was smooth, prompt, and tidy from start to finish. We’ve had the unit for two weeks now and couldn’t be happier. Fantastic job done by Elliott and the boys. Removed old gas heater and evaporative system and installed our new AC unit with no issues. Highly recommend to go through Aiconditioning and Heating centre with any related AC issues.
Extremely disappointing after‑sales support for an $11,000 Daikin system. I purchased and had an $11,000 Daikin air‑conditioning system supplied and installed by Air-conditioning & Heating Centre in Fyshwick in 2020 for my home in Canberra. The system stopped working before the end of 2025, effectively failing at around the 5‑year mark. Despite Daikin advertising a 5‑year parts and labour warranty for domestic installations in Australia, I was told that my unit was ‘out of warranty’ and that it would cost me over $2,000 just for the replacement part, with the attitude that it was basically bad luck and to take it up with Daikin directly. For a system at this price point to fail so soon is unacceptable, and being brushed off instead of offered meaningful assistance or advocacy with the manufacturer shows very poor customer service. Under Australian Consumer Law, expensive household systems are expected to be of acceptable quality and last a reasonable time, and consumer guarantees can continue to apply even after the manufacturer’s written warranty ends, particularly where a major, expensive failure occurs. I am extremely dissatisfied with how this has been handled and would not recommend Air-conditioning & Heating Centre in Fyshwick to anyone looking for a reliable installation and after‑sales support on a premium Daikin system.”
We had our older aircon system replaced yesterday by Elliott, Deny & Luke from Airandheating. Elliott is the manager of Airandheating and is a pleasure to deal with and is always positive. He and the lads arrived early and they all jumped in and got straight onto the job. The lads worked flat out for six hours and did a first rate job including cleaning up after the job was done. Elliott returned to supervise the first power up of the system and to make sure we were taken care of. Thankyou Elliott, we are very happy with the whole Airandheating installation experience. Perfect experience from Aircon & Heating Centre. I sent in a quote request with detailed requirements for split systems in three rooms. I requested quotes for Mitsubishi and Daikin units. Valeriano called back the next morning having read my requirements in detail. He provided useful advice on unit sizes and cost based on my floor plan and room size. He also provided feedback on my requested install locations, and was clear about what was possible and where there would be challenges with piping and wiring. I promptly received multiple quotes for the Mitsubishi and Daikin options I requested within a couple of days from my first email. Valeriano also provided additional quotes for options such as different sized units where recommended, and features such as Wifi connectivity for remote control. All options were extremely competitively priced, and I ended up going ahead with three units, 2.5kW, 3.5kW & 8.5kW Daikin Alira X units. On the install day, the team showed up early and worked hard throughout the whole day. They were all polite and professional. Cabling and piping work is super neat. Small details like sealing colorbond conduits and isolators with silicon are greatly appreciated. I gave the team options to make the install easier, such as running piping externally, but they still managed the more aesthetic but challenging option of hiding almost everything in the ceiling, which has barely any crawl space and is a royal pain in the ass to work in. Electrical work is good with new circuits, isolators and RCBOs for each unit. The team also left all work areas clean and tidy, vacuuming inside and taking all rubbish with them. Have been using the units for a couple of months now, and happy with the performance. Overall extremely pleased with the entire experience, and will be using and recommending Aircon and Heating Centre again for any additional units we need.
