My daughter is attending tutoring sessions with Henry for AP Chemistry. She met with Henry at the end of her fall semester AP Chemistry course. Before they met, Henry asked my daughter to make a list of topics that she wanted to review from the fall semester. During their first meeting, Henry reviewed the topics that my daughter needed more help in and explained to her his plan. Afterwards, Henry spoke with me about his approach to review the topics from the fall semester and build upon them to learn new concepts for the spring semester. Henry is efficient and flexible in recognizing what my daughter needs help in. She says that he uses real life instances to illustrate a concept such as equilibrium to make it relatable. Henry has a lot of experience in tutoring the AP STEM courses.

Daniel Creger is a really good ACT tutor. He’s patient and makes things easy to understand. He helped me learn the material in a way that made sense, and I feel much more confident about the test now. I would recommend him to anyone taking the ACT.

Daniel Pincus was my tutor for both SAT prep and AP Psychology (for credit). Words cannot describe how amazing of a tutor Daniel is. I give full credit to him for my 1520 on the SAT, as well as my 5 in AP Psychology. He has helped me tremendously with the mental side of taking standardized tests--controlling the stress and nerves that comes with navigating SAT and AP exams, and helping me find ways to calm myself down and relax while taking them. Daniel is just an amazing human being, and he was always understanding when I was having a rough day, or if I was late to class, or even if I forgot to do my homework. He is such a kind and empathetic soul, and you can tell that he is passionate about his job, as well as the subjects he teaches. He taught his class material from the inside out, always finding tips and tricks to help me remember certain psychology terms or a way around a tricky SAT problem. He found a way to make online classes engaging, something the majority of teachers and tutors still find difficult to do. He knows his way around almost every SAT question he sees, and helped me break down the problems into smaller, easier chunks to handle. Daniel was such an amazing tutor over the past year and a half, that I actually considered adding another AP class to my schedule this year, just so that he could be my tutor for the subject. I recommend Daniel to everyone who comes to AJ tutoring, and for anyone who is looking for a great friend and mentor as well.
