Had to change my review after returning here a second time. My salmon roll barely had any avocado. The bit of avocado it did contain was BROWN. Completely unacceptable The spicy duck noodle soup tasted very good, but it was extremely difficult to eat. I was constantly picking tiny bones out of my mouth. I would come back here, but I would not order this dish again.

Everything from the atmosphere, the service, to the food itself, was absolutely incredible. The orange chicken was so crispy and perfectly cooked, the fish in the sushi tasted incredible, and the soup dumplings were the best I've had in the Springs. The cheesecake is a necessary addition if you manage to leave room at the end of your meal!

We’ve been on the hunt for the perfect sushi spot in North Colorado Springs for years and we finally found it at Akarui Sushi! We’ve been regulars for over a year now, visiting 1–2 times a month (and honestly, I wish we could go more!). Every time we come, we’re blown away by the consistently high quality of the food, the welcoming atmosphere, and the fast, friendly service at this family owned restaurant! The sushi is top-tier super fresh, creative and beautifully prepared. You can tell they take pride in the presentation and chosen ingredients. The dumplings are absolutely delish! Flavorful, and definitely a must-order every time. We always find ourselves eyeing other dishes too as they are delivered to other tables. Everything looks incredible, and the menu has so much variety that we’re excited to try more each visit. The service is always quick and personable. We’ve never had to wait for a table, but honestly, if we ever do, we’ll happily wait. Akarui Sushi is that good. If you’re searching for your go-to sushi spot in the Springs, this is it. You won’t regret it!

First time in the springs and had to try one of their top rated sushi spots & this one is rightfully so. Every dish was different & tasted great. Next time, I will be exploring even more dishes. Also our server, Hector, was super sweet and came around often.

Super nice little place. Really loved the decor! The music was a whole vibe. No wait, plenty of tables. Excellent service. Our server and the chef (?) Who brought our food were both so nice. We ordered 4 different rolls and 3 types of dumplings and loved all of them!! Will definitely be going back!
