Celebrated our daughter receiving her Masters degree at the Akwaaba Gallery… The gallery is beautiful; the patio - a peaceful oasis. Ms. Laura is simply WONDERFUL… she absolutely knows her business. Akwaaba Gallery is a hidden gem! They've done a tremendous job on the space which is stunning. I highly recommend others see it for themselves.
I loved it. The whole aurora was awesome. The art, atmosphere, attitude of administration and even the people attending the event were all awe inspiring. Im going back to this urban art oasis...immediately after i spread the word about how this hidden gem shines on South Orange Avenue, Newark NJ
I had the honor of getting married at the gallery! The wedding was better than anything I could have imagined and Ms. Laura was like my Fairy God Mother on my big day. She and and her husband went above and beyond to ensure my guests and I had a wonderful evening. All my guests complimented the artwork, decor and Ms. Laura's attentiveness on every detail that night. If you are thinking of having an intimate and romantic wedding Akwaaba Gallery is definitely a must!
¡Qué tiempo tan maravilloso pasamos en la noche de apertura de este lugar! Disfrutando de la encantadora exposición de obras de arte, conociendo a los artistas locales y mezclándonos con los cientos de invitados que entraban y salían a lo largo de la velada para celebrar el evento. Akwaaba Gallery es un hermoso, espacioso y tranquilo refugio en Newark, que es fácilmente accesible en transporte público, con amplio estacionamiento en la calle.
