Knowing my first day in the Alaska Driving Academy (ADA) was coming up, I was ready for whatever i thought I’ve predicted until i sat in class. I’ve never felt how unknowingly it was to a drive a manual Semi. Luckily ADA was able to cultivate their knowledge into students willing to learn. My thanks & reliefs for them going out there way to operate a program for students to better there skills and future.

I was totally nervous and scared to go from construction to truck driving when I first got there. I didn’t know if I could even shift which was kind of sad and scary to say for me since my dad is a semi truck driver, but after the first week with all the help from the teachers in class, I started to understand it and my instructor the little professor definitely had the biggest help when it came to me understanding how to move or even back up a semi which really helped me get rid of my nerves and within the second week I felt like everybody in the class was kind of a big giant family, and I like how the teachers and the instructors kind of tell you to have that trucker Creed and help anybody you can definitely makes you feel more comfortable I cant wait to see the knowledge they gave me an action The biggest advice I could tell you guys is trust the process they know what they they’re doing even if you know nothing, they make it easy for you to figure out how to do everything you are second-guessing if I could turn back time and pick a different school, I would still pick this school just for the teachers the instructors the extra drive time and it might be longer but trust me when you’re getting in that truck you want that extra three weeks to four weeks of learning before you hop on the road

First and foremost I thank you ADA for your commitment and dedication. I started to think how would be like attending to ADA. First day I when I met the brothers & sisters at the lodge alongside with the instructor The Mech & Mark giving us a welcome and instruction. First of class was awesome because meeting Matt was already a down to earth kind of guy. When Matt gave details run down about the school tracing I thought to myself like , damn it gonna be a long stressful week already with homework assignments and learning how to get down with the shifting and driving 80k truck. But as the day goes by it start to feel that it more worth to gain knowledge and skill rather than just received a CDL A. My instructor was KEN “GAME CHANGER” really down to earth with teaching verbally and physically, very challenging but worth every shot of every details. I can’t thank him enough with teaching me from no skills to professional experience knowledge and skill. If you are looking for a place to gain knowledge and skill for your CDL A, ADA is the place you would most like to attend to! Don’t miss out on this opportunity! Alaska Driving Academy the best traing academy! Thank you to all the instructors and coach for the opportunity! Perhaps most importantly, I became aware of the power of community. The love and camaraderie among classmates made the load lighter and the victories sweeter. We were not just individuals seeking a license, but a community learning together, lifting one another up.

Totally nervous coming to learn how to drive a tractor with a trailer not knowing what I was getting myself into. The administrative staff was really helpful with questions and welcoming when I came to the office. The knowledge from The Goat in class was really solid information. Whenever one of us had questions he had a different way of explaining information to us all in visual pictures, small toys to show us on different back up moves, detailed explanation on downshifting and up shifting. Going into our fourth week, I have learned so much. Our driving teacher sharing his knowledge, encouragement from him, his pointers in everything he taught me, helped me become confident in myself to become a safe driver that I want to be.

The best school for CDL. Good and nice crew the professor the goat Matt and thous professional driver instructors thanks lil professor Mark winters. They also had nice and helpful on their front desk and the office ladies, miss lizbeth and miss Riley, And thanks to coach Chris and miss Misty they are the best and helpful with me when joining to this class. I learned a lot of information about driving and having a cdl, start from the class, they give a lot of packet booklets to read and to learn about driving and in the Camelot the yard that they teach us how to drive a 60 footer tractor/trailer, and they also provide us the lodge to stay while we are here in Alaska Driving Academy, This is the great school and I've love to recommend to all that wanted to have a CDL.
