I have been attending for almost 2 years as an adult cello student. My instructor, Melinda, is amazing and very supportive! She is available for questions if I'm stuck on something between lessons. The office staff are friendly, helpful, and quickly responsive to questions. I highly recommend Albuquerque Institute of Music.

My two daughters started when in 1st and 3rd grade and have been taking classes for just over a year now. We've been so impressed not only with their progress, but with how much they have really enjoyed their classes and their teachers (Ms. Julianne and Ms. Lillian). It has been such a positive introduction to playing music. Office staff is also very helpful and available. Recommend!

This is an amazing place to learn music. There’s all kinds of things you can learn. All of the teachers are extremely kind and knowledgeable as well, they take the extra mile to help their students exceed. Ms. Tatyana is an amazing piano teacher for me! She is always supporting me and pushing me to help me accomplish my goals. The overall school is great and has a comfortable voice to it.

Ms. Petra is such a wonderful teacher! she has been teaching our now 6 year old for over two years now, and she absolutely LOVES playing the piano. There is fantastic structure and a great reward system to help keep kids interested and focused! Not to mention the multiple recitals held for the school multiples times a year to keep them motivated. 10/10 would recommend if you are looking for music lessons for yourself or your kids!

Wonderful music school! My daughter has been with them for several years now enjoying voice and piano lessons. She has loved both her teachers! The instructors really help their students create beautiful music. Even as just a parent I love sitting in the waiting room listening to lessons covering so many different instruments, styles, genres of music, and skill levels. Watching recitals it is obvious the students truly learn a love of music and a joy in performance. My daughter is shy and yet feels very comfortable and encouraged. Thank you!
