Amazing day! Great time with Captain Erik on the Lucky Star. Beautiful boat, big full sized deck. Very comfortable with enclosed cabin and restroom. Caught these amazing Dungeoness Crab and Flounder.
We had such an amazing time with All Star Seattle Fishing Charters! Erik was a fantastic and enthusiastic captain who instantly made us feel comfortable out on the water. He did a great job explaining how to use the fishing poles and lines in a way that made us feel like pros, even though we were beginners. I really appreciated how he switched up lures and moved us to new spots when things were slow—he truly went the extra mile to give us the best experience possible. We ended the day with 4 beautiful coho salmon and huge smiles on our faces! I 100% recommend booking with Erik at All Star Seattle Fishing Charters—you won’t be disappointed!
This was my first time ever salmon fishing and our captain Nick Kester made it the absolute BEST experience! We shared lots of laughs and caught all the salmon we could because he is a pro! I would highly recommend and so would my family. Both my parents and my father in law, each of them who served our country, were very pleased and had a great time as well.
Captain Nick Kester is the person that you want to fish with. My trip through Salmon for Soldiers was very relaxed, fun and expertly conducted. He gave clear and supportive instruction to each person empowering us to have great confidence while operating equipment and catching fish. Great humor and motivated to get our catch limit without rushing or being pushy. Always helpful and genuinely wants everyone to be successful and have great time doing it. Checked in with each passenger to see how they were doing and made sure to answer any questions we had. Highly recommend Capt. Nick and I would absolutely go with him again.
Wow, what a first fishing trip for my boys! 🎣 Captain Nick Kester was absolutely fantastic. From the moment we stepped on board, he made the experience fun, relaxed, and totally stress-free. He was so patient with my 6- and 12-year-old, answering every single one of their questions (and there were a lot!) with a smile. By the end, my 6-year-old was proudly declaring himself the “expert fisherman.” 😂 We chose a private charter for our group of six, and it turned out to be the perfect setup. Captain Nick made sure we all got in on the action. Between the excitement of reeling in fish, the laughs, and the beautiful scenery on the Sound, it was truly a day to remember. This was our first fishing adventure as a family, and it couldn’t have gone better (we caught our limit). We’re already talking about when we can go back for round two—it’s safe to say we’re hooked!
