and a month before my wedding. I asked for no length off, long layers and curtain bangs. I never agreed to the length she said she wanted to cut. I said I do not care that the ends are damaged I will fix that in October when it no longer matters that my length is intact. I just want long layers at this time. She completely disregarded what I said and wanted and did what she wanted to do. She cut more than 4 inches from my hair and argued with me about its original length. As the person whose hair was chopped off, I think I would know how long it initially was. I could get over it if it was super blended and styled very well and like the picture I showed her but it doesn't. This is literally the worst and choppiest haircut I've ever had in my life. I really trusted the other reviews of this place and trusted my stylist to take care of me and listen to what I wanted. At this point it feels personal that she did this to my hair then blamed me after the fact. Truly devastated and do not recommend this place for cuts whatsoever. Don't risk it. Having someone argue with you that the hair is blended is mind blowing. I included a picture of what I asked for vs. what I received and what my hair originally looked like.
After hearing that Tiffany retired, I was nervous to find someone as talented. Jargie took over the salon and did a fabulous job on my very long thick hair. I asked her to only cut an inch off the length and then add layers and thin out all the weight. She did exactly that and styled it beautifully afterwards. She spent extra time with me at the end looking for my perfect color match in her sample book. Such a sweet soul and a really amazing discovery, what with Tiffany no longer at the salon. Will def be back!
I have the haircut Ive always wanted and I had the best experience with Jargie. She’s incredibly talented and the kindest soul. I cannot thank her enough for such a great experience and haircut. I will be back!
I've had my hair cut by Jargie twice now, and she nailed it both times. They're the best haircuts I've had and I don't cut my hair often, so I don't mind paying a little extra. Jargie's also fun and easy to talk to, so the time passes comfortably while she does her thing. She doesn't seem to cut corners either, which I appreciate. Thanks Jargie!
I moved to Oakland two years ago, and Tiffany has never disappointed me with her talent for haircuts. This past weekend I also decided to get my hair colored for my wedding by Tiffany, a balayage style. I wanted a light ash color and wasn't sure what was possible because my hair was black. She gave me good advice, even when I wasn't sure what I wanted or know what's the right decisions. She was thoughtful and patient with me. Afterward, it turned out beautiful, but I told Tiffany I wanted to be lighter and to even out the orange due to my hair being black. She had me come in for another session, so she could make it lighter and even. After the second session, she even gave me treatment for my hair to take home. Tiffany is not only a professional, but she's talented at what she does, and she cares about her client's happiness. She's the best hair stylist I have had. Thank you for always giving it your best!
