I love ALORA so much!!! The instructors are amazing! They use the mega formers so the workouts are great! When they say high intensity they mean it! I go 4-5 days a week and I still shake every class and still get sore! I love all the girls who work there and booking is so easy online. The parking is really convenient and the studio is cute and very clean! Highly recommend Alora!!!
Been doing Pilates for a few years. I was going to this last Pilates Studio for 4 years A big turn over happened and new instructors were not so motivating and I felt like I can chew a gum and have an intense conversation with the other person beside me and do Pilates, so I ditched them. In other words, I’m paying for so much money and I’m not being challenged and feel blah afterwards, not at ALORA. Yes, I’ll be honest. At first I was intimidated by the big black reformer but when I got used to it, I’ve noticed that it seems like the routine we’re all the same with all the classes and instructors and I felt like I’m working the same muscle group all the time most especially if I was going everyday which I did the first week. I had mixed emotions because all the instructors are great but they were changing the instructors schedules so much. I talked to the owner and she was very nice and explained to me the circumstances and I understood. That was 3 months ago. Now, I am a very happy Pilates camper and I would recommend ALORA to anybody and everybody. Instructors are great and classes are very challenging. You will leave the class happy, fulfilled and challenged to the best of your ability. Try it, you’ll like it.
I went to the stretching & sound bath class with Cat!! It is the perfect addition to Alora fitness. I loved coming here to wind down for once in addition to all the Pilates I do at Alora. Cat is so sweet, explains every step of the way. She is amazing at facilitating this. I felt so comfortable in this class. Such a refreshing, grounding start to the week. I will be back!
Love this studio! I’ve taken several classes and I always walk out feeling stronger and excited for the next. The studio is clean and the instructors are all great. I love taking the sound & stretch class with Cat. Cat creates a relaxing environment perfect for winding down with a sound bath. Cat utilizes her lovely sound bowls and graces us with the healing benefits of sound frequency. Can’t wait to be back!
It was my first time last week and Katrina was very knowledgeable and nice. I have done yoga in the past but primarily do weight training and run, so I decided to try this after a few of my trainers said they'd tried you all and thought I would love it as a supplement to my other training. They were definitely right! I love the space, the area is beautiful and super close to my home. Walking in and smelling lavender instead of a sweaty gym is ideal too. It’s a little warm for me, but otherwise I have enjoyed the few classes I’ve had so far and the build up to harder movements.
