My physical therapist at Alves & Martinez Physical Therapy is Susana. Susana is an outstanding physical therapist. I was impressed with her active listening skills and her ability to describe the purpose and focus of the exercises for my rotator cuff tear and my surgically repaired ankle. I would highly recommend Alves & Martinez Physical Therapy.
Alves and Martinez is the BEST Physical Therapy location in all of Sacramento. Everyone with whom I've worked has been very knowledgeable, personable, easily adjusted to each of my needs. I would never see anyone else.
I can’t thank Billie enough for all the problems he has helped improve in my body. His shared knowledge is easy to understand. His staff is very good as well. He will give you the tools but you have to do the work. If you need physical therapy this is where you want to go.
Review for Yesenia Rodriguez, Physical Therapist I cannot recommend Yesenia Rodriguez highly enough. She is professional, knowledgeable, and extremely understanding. I first met her when she treated my son, who has special needs and can be challenging to work with at times. Yesenia showed incredible patience, compassion, and skill, making him feel comfortable while also ensuring he received the care he needed. Because of her outstanding work with my son, I returned to her for my own care—and once again, she exceeded expectations. She listens, explains clearly, and provides effective treatment that truly makes a difference. If you are in East Sacramento or Sacramento and need a physical therapist, I highly recommend Yesenia Rodriguez. She is absolutely fantastic with both adults and children, and she goes above and beyond for her patients.
Billy Martinez recognized within two visits that the extent of my injuries was beyond the scope of his practice. He referred me to my primary care physician for MRI diagnostics. After review of the results, I was referred to an orthopedic surgeon. Two days after the consultation, I had a total hip replacement to deal with a labral tear, severe osteoarthritis, and a fractured femur. I am grateful that Dr, Martinez didn't power through trying to mend me and potentially exacerbating the situation. I expect to return to Billy Martinez when released for post-surgical physical therapy. I have profound respect for his professionalism.
