Such a wonderful experience! The theater is intimate, making you feel truly connected to the performance. Great cast, great set, and just such a well-done production overall. Can’t wait to come back for the next one!
Best theater not only in Fort Worth, but in all of the metroplex. Maybe even in all of Texas. No matter what you see at Amphibian, you know it'll be impressive, it'll make you feel something, and it'll be something you can't see anywhere else nearby. Also I'm a big fan of their tiered ticketing model, which makes it much more affordable to go see their shows. Lastly their Under 40 membership is a crazy good deal. For like $130 you can see a ton of their events. (Also if you go to first rehearsal & member nights, which are both catered, you make your money back on food alone).
I was here during Dad's Weekend 2024. We saw a fun play. Super easy to order and pick up tickets and park. Play was a lot of fun. Nice venue. You choose what to pay. Great experience!
I went to the Amphibian Stage a few weeks ago to see a standup comedy show and was not disappointed. The establishment is very nice, they sell beer and wine and also have candy on the tables to munch on while you wait for the doors of the theater to open. The stage area is very nice as shown by my picture, and it is a bit of an intimate setting. I would go again to see a play, as they do not only do comedy shows.
Un teatro íntimo escondido al sur del centro de Fort Worth. Nuestra primera visita, y todo el personal y los asistentes, fueron muy amables. Se nota que todos sienten un gran orgullo por el teatro y por las producciones. Tienen un estacionamiento algo pequeño (¡gratis!) y hasta había alguien allá afuera asegurándose de que solo los asistentes al teatro estacionaran allí. ¡Qué bien! Los asientos son por orden de llegada, así que tu boleto te da la entrada y luego puedes sentarte en cualquier asiento que aún esté disponible. Es un teatro relativamente pequeño, así que diría que cualquier asiento sería una gran butaca. Las galletas 'famosas' son muy buenas: muy gruesas, lo cual fue extraño, pero no eran de textura de pastel (lo cual agradecí). Soy exigente con las galletas y volvería a comer las suyas (aunque son un poco caras). Me alegra mucho haberle dado una oportunidad a este lugar y definitivamente estaremos pendientes de otras producciones que hagan. Y ya se lo he recomendado a otros, así que si te animas a probarlo.
