as someone with a reactive dog it’s so great to find a place that still treats your animal with respect and dignity! AUTUMN is an amazing vet tech and helped so much with our appointment and nail trim! thank you autumn! would recommend to anyone with a more reactive dog or a dog that dislikes having their feet touched!

The team here took full, compassionate care of our poor puppy Lucille, who was terribly ill after the drive in from Montreal for the holidays. They performed a full exam, gave us several options for care with full transparency, and trained us up well to leave and give her the care she needed as we headed into Xmas. They told us what to watch for, what to do if things got worse, and what to expect. A total pro team here.

Excellent experience with this vet. I brought my dog in for his vaccines and I couldn’t be happier with the care we received. My pup usually gets quite anxious at the vet, but the staff here were so kind and gentle that he actually relaxed. They made sure he felt safe before starting anything. Doctor explained everything clearly, answered all my questions, and never made me feel rushed. I would wholeheartedly recommend this hospital to anyone who wants their pet cared for like family.

I had a wonderful experience at Animal Hospital of Kitchener and Waterloo. Dr. Akhilesh did an amazing job with my dog’s neuter procedure. He was very professional, caring, and made sure everything went smoothly. My dog recovered quickly and is doing great! The entire team was kind and supportive — they explained everything clearly and took great care of my pet before and after the surgery. I’m very thankful for their compassion and expertise. Highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring vet!

Please avoid. I'm very upset after coming here for a rabies shot for my cat. They did not check his temperature before giving the vaccine and now my cat is in the hospital due to his compromised immune system. I would not recommend it here. When I phoned them and let them know, they would not take responsibility until my husband said to them " You not doing a full check and not checking his temperature and now my cat is hospitalized" They are now going to contact the manufacturer of the shot. So now I have to pay a high bill ( over $1000+) to get him healthy again at another vet clinic. The male vet here did not do a full checkup which I was charged for. The sign on Victoria St is pushing vaccines but they need to check the pet out properly before giving vaccines. All they kept saying was rabies reaction are so rare. I cannot get over that they charged me to have the vet look at him and he didn't really do all the checks. The office didn't seem clean either which worries me. The assistant ( who seemed like he was training) and the vet missed an very important step. I would not have taken my cat in for a shot if I knew he may have had a fever. Now I don't know if it was the rabies shot or if he had a slight fever when he came in. Very frustrating. If you need a vet please go to Stratsburg Animal Hospital where Dr Chatrath is amazing and was even willing to help us with contacting the manufacturer of the rabies shot if needed.
