I have a difficult dog with humans and the staff here is amazing! Even with him being difficult they still included him in games outside of the kennel! Their communication is also amazing!

This review is overdue! Shelly and Arch City Dog boarding are fabulous. I am an over-protective dog mama and have had disappointing experiences in the past with other boarding facilities and pet sitters. I was determined to find the best “dog people” for our new cairn terrier puppy Archie. Arch City is it. Shelly truly cares about your dog. You can tell each time you talk to her that she has enthusiasm and love for what she does and backs that up with knowledge and experience. She has a comprehensive online care profile for each dog that she reviews every time you visit. She schedules drop off and pick up appointments to minimize stress on your dog (and you!), which means there is never a long chaotic and potentially unsafe line at the door. She only takes a small number of dogs at a time to make sure she’s able to provide the best care to your pet. The dogs get playtime and exercise in her outdoor yards and/or spacious indoor area. The online booking system is convenient and easy to use. I could go on and on. Archie has had two stays with Shelly and I can tell the care he received while we were gone was top notch. I am so relieved to have found this special place. We will never board anywhere else.
