Armstrong plumbing was great. They were able to get out same day and identify a small gas leak at one of my rentals, kept me abreast of the findings and provided photos to show me. I will use them in the future for other plumbing related issues. Thanks much guys!
My garbage disposal decided to die and waited for the weekend to do it. I have used Armstrong for years and called them. I talked to the on-call technician who saved me $200 by pointing out they could send him out on an emergency call on Sunday, or I could get a normal call on Monday. Nice. Hezekiah came Monday, on time, and got the replacement right in. Nice to have a sink again.
Their phone number only connects to an AI assistant. I scheduled a quote/estimate for a whole house repipe - a job that's more than $40k - and the AI assistant gave me a 4 hour window and I waited 6 hours and no one showed up. You can't get a hold of an actual person. The AI assistant just says they'll contact dispatch and mark the issue as urgent. Called BELL BROTHERS and told them it was a whole house repipe and they had someone out in 20 minutes. Good job Armstrong - you lost at least $40k because of your AI assistant.
Pretty good for the most part. Better communication would be good. No on told me they would release water to the side of the house. I had moved all my stuff out there to get it out of the way and was shocked to go out there and see it all soaked. Also, water heater is a little crooked on the support platform. Instead of straightening, they added braces to hold it, support it, at the slightly crooked position. Looks odd but as long as it works...? Worst item was the sink faucet they force turned and broke. It was already "unique" in how it worked but worked if you knew how to work it. No one,.. again communication..., mentioned needing water from my garage sink. (There was a hose in use already) Water is off to my sink now permanently until I can replace the faucet. Of course they offered to replace for some $300+ fee... Lol! Uh no. On the plus, the service techs were very respectful when they did communicate, seemed to do a good job otherwise, and said they got me a better model than we originally talked about. Appreciate the pluses!
I’m very satisfied my laundry drain was well cleared. Carlos and Tyrus explained my utility and washing machine plumbing to me and made me confident to use the in wall laundry drain. Both gentleman were professional and courteous. No longer draining washer in utility sink. Yay!
