We got private lessons to learn our first dance for our wedding. Had a great time and turned it into a date night. Would recommend to our friends
My fiancé and I had private lessons for our wedding dance and had a great experience! Everyone at this studio was amazing especially Colby and Carlaen who were our instructors. We had no dance experience and they helped create a fun dance routine and we can’t wait to show everyone at our wedding! We will definitely be back for more lessons.
My husband and I took private lessons for our first dance at our wedding, and we had such a wonderful experience. From the very beginning, Kimber warmly welcomed us and helped us choose the lessons that best matched our goals and experience level. We truly enjoyed coming to the studio each week—the atmosphere is so positive, and all the instructors are kind, supportive, and genuinely enthusiastic about helping you learn. A very special thank you to our instructor, Colby, who did a fantastic job putting together a choreography that felt both beautiful and natural for us. He was incredibly patient, encouraging, and made the entire process so much fun. Colby also took careful notes during each lesson and filmed us at the end of every session, which made it so much easier to practice at home and track our progress. His attention to detail and support made a big difference in helping us feel confident for the big day. In addition to our lessons, we also had the opportunity to attend a couple of social events at the studio. It’s such a fun and encouraging environment for dancers of all levels, and it really helped us feel even more comfortable on the dance floor on our wedding day. Thanks to the team, our first dance ended up being one of our favorite moments of the wedding. We’re so grateful and highly recommend this studio to any couple preparing for their special day—or anyone just looking to have fun and dance!
Arthur Murray Dance Studio Tampa North is incredible! The instructors are professional, patient, and make every class fun—whether you're a complete beginner or leveling up your skills. The atmosphere is welcoming, upbeat, and truly feels like a dance family. Highly recommend for anyone looking to learn, grow, and have a blast on the dance floor!
After speaking with Kimber, and meeting with her about possible dance instruction, I knew this was where I needed to be. I sought out dance instruction, in my 70’s, for a variety of reasons. One, hopefully, was to share with a significant other someday; to eliminate feeling inept like many guys do when they have the opportunity to dance whether it’s a wedding, other celebration or just going out. I also needed it as physical therapy after two severe injuries to my spine and neural system. In approximately six months time, instruction has done all of this, and more. The instructors are excellent, they are patient, tolerant, courteous, and very professional. I am thankful for all they have done and continue to do for me. I highly recommend this studio if you are considering dance instruction. And…..it’s fun!!!! Tim
